Get there early. Free yoga in NYC means a crowd and this place fills up fast. Also, bring bottled water. You WILL sweat. A lot. Don't get dehydrated.
I love this place. Get there half an hour before class starts to get a spot. Definitely go on Sundays for the candle-lit classes.

I hate crowded places. I hate being hot. And before this I hated exercise. But I love this place. I get why people go here, and it's not just because it's "donation yoga". Go often.

Basic Vinyasa flow, no pretense, usually work up a healthy sweat & fills the lungs with new life. My weekend treat to myself, never regretted.
