Visit the observation deck in Dock B and enjoy fascinating views of the aprons and runways. The outdoor observation walkway allows you to catch a glimpse of the pilots in their cockpits.

Fancy a drink in Zurich? The Kronenhalle Bar is an institution for itself, with paintings by Miró, Picasso and Klee on the walls and former world champion barkeeper Peter Roth in charge of drinks.

One of my favourite airports! A breeze to pass through security, excellent shopping opportunities, as well as various options to grab a bite. All in all a very well designed airport!

If you like chocolate you must visit the lindt store on the second floor: they even produce handmade fresh chocolate and have lindt ice cream which I don't think I've seen anywhere else in the world!

The chief attractions of the Fraumünster Church are five stained-glass windows, each with its own colour theme designed by French artist Marc Chagall. They are best seen in bright morning light.

Interlaken lies at the strides of the most lovely elevated run. The landscape is absolutely stunning with snow-capped mountains sprinkled with waterfalls, frosty lakes and lavish green high glades.

Located near the Fraumunster, St.Peter's Church is the oldest parish church in Zurich and has the largest clock face in Europe. Free classical music concerts are regularly scheduled here.

I've never seen such an organized, clean and speedy airport. Or car parks. They are so clean you could eat from the floor. Classical music included!!! Compare that to UK car parks ... Yikes

Getting stuck for a night in Zurich is highly recommended. Gorgeous city, great free hotel room provided by the airline, overall the best cancelled flight location you can ask for.

If waiting for a flight from "D" gates, go through the terminal building and then take an escalator to the first floor. Nice views of aircrafts taxiing around and departing from RWY16!

The code for free 60 min WiFi access can be used on multiple devices. Also: it's so clean that you can eat from the floor (but there are enough chairs and tables as well)

I can't speak for the other terminals, but terminal E is clean and quiet. Nice place to be for a long layover - and it doesn't hurt that there is an Emirates lounge here too!

The inter-terminal train here plays Swiss noise, like mountain stream, cows mooing and Alpine horns. There's also speed-by ads in the tube that surprise train riders, but they're awesome.

One of most organized airports I know. A cow's moo, horns and bells on the inter-terminal train puts you right in the Swiss spirit. And if you're a chocoholic, Sprungli's shop is a must-stop.

Take the rail downtown (the station is across the street from arrivals). It's $7 vs $50 for a taxi, and faster. And you can plug in your cell phone on a train.

there's a transitional hotel here. Not very so great with only public bathrooms and you can't shower in your own room. Yet it's a good choice for those who can't get putt of the airport to rest.
