Great place for expats to find their favourite food from around the world. And don't forget to tell the grumpy cashier it's her turn to wish you "Happy Thanksgiving back" ;)
A variedade da rotisserie é tão grande que você sempre acha que deveria levar mais coisas do que já está comprando ;)
A very nice market south of campus. It's worth a visit, even if just to experience it's cuteness! Great for kitchenitems and utensils on the upper level.
Go to the deli, get the #1: Corned beef, pastrami, and tongue with Russian dressing and cole slaw on rye. Tender and piled high for $12. Delicious.
The fresh orange juice is absolutely amazing.
Amazing food selection...get all the knishes!!
Best bagels, great selection of cheeses and fresh seafood!
Smoke salmon is great!
Olive and cheese heaven!
Props for having the big jar of salted capers that no other store wants to carry. Also great stinky, gooey, washed rind cheese section. One of the few groceries in town that does not disappoint.
This NY institution has a zero tolerance towards the uninitiated - and that's not just from the staff. Customers are equally intolerant. Tourists beware.
Berry Cooler was sooo good.
A landmark with a wicked breakfast selection. What more do you want?
To ensure you are always invited back for bagel breakfast and you've finally tasted the best lox in NYC, head to the one and only Zabar's for some double smoked nova, it's simple the best.
Jewish heaven! Try their lox and spreads
Go here for cheese and meat.
Surprisingly quick take away options here beyond the staples - smoked salmon, cheeses and fine goods.
Great deli but could become like a zoo during weekends especially if you are trying to get counter service. If you can go off hour, highly recommend it
I have to get a Nova (smoked salmon and chive cream cheese on a bagel) from Zabar's every time I'm in NYC.
So much food and upstairs has some neat gadgets. Place is crazy busy and a bit small, but it's a New York institution. Go check it out
Get there an hour before closing for reduced prices on bagels, croissants and sandwiches!
Eh, not impressed
Buy the lox, a bagel and home made cream cheese with lox and head to central park and have yourself a picnic...perfection.
Corner beef on rye
The coffee and fresh deli items, some hard to find..all so great!
Lots of gourmet items not to far from Central Park
There is bulgarian feta cheese...
While getting your edibles and digestibles downstairs, don't forget to browse the kitchenware upstairs. Williams Sonoma eat your heart out!
Knishes. Out of this world good.
This amazing grocery store offers a variety of produce, such as exotic cheeses, smoked salmon and tasty delicatessens!
Avoid this knockoff.
The most amazing collection of cheese from all over the globe!
Kitchen equipment lovers must check out the stash upstairs. The selection and prices will surprise you!
Popular breakfast spot on Broadway. Try Panini & Hazelnut coffee.
Iconic gourmet food store has one of the best cheese, appetizing and cured fish dept's in NYC
Good shop also aside
Amazing cheese department
Zabar's Nova Smoked Salmon is the best! Watch them slice it: it is an artform!
Блины с творогом и сметаной - отличное начало дня
A great place to wrestle an old lady for a chocolate babka.
I love Zabar's Babka! :):):) ps: go to 2nd floor it is a heaven for kitchen supplies!
I love Zabar. Pick up pickles, cheese, coffee whatever.
Fresh roasted coffee is so cheap
el mejor market de la ciudad! Es el lugar clave para prepararse un picnic para ir al Central Park
Worst store I have ever been to, the customers are rude, not one person had the common courtesy to say excuse me. Angry old women and horrible self entitled parents.
Salmon + Cream Cheese Sandwich on Pumpernickel
Seating is extremely limited, especially in the morning. Try the Country Ham Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich and the coffee.
