Food is on fleek
Get lots of small plates to share. Service is slow so expect a 2h dinner.
Delicate food with great waiters/waitresses. I'd recommend the tasting menu ($42) for first-timers.
Best menu in the city for the price.
Get a group of 9 for the lamb shoulder
An amazing restaurant that offers unique dishes. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the fried cauliflower with mint and labneh was delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful.
Interesting menu, but small portions and over priced.
Order the halloumi! Cheesegasm
my favorite place in philly. warm hummus is divine. cauliflower is amazing. cocktails are scrumptious.
Get the tasting menu to try lots. The hummus is amazing. Still need to go back for the lamb shoulder though.
Maybe the best restaurant in the city. The hummus, the laffa bread, the mezza, the lamb shoulder! Skip trying to get a reso and just get on the list for a bar seat.
Hummus and restaurant week menu just great!
Best hummus in Philly, by far
Sable, haloumi, cauliflower, potatoes, all of the kebabs. All of the everything. Except don't bother with the chicken freekah. I would travel on a plane for 3 hours to eat here.
The tasting menu is the way to go for newbies.
If you want to splurge on a high end restaurant in Philadelphia, this is the one.
Zahav is Israeli cuisine at its finest. Go with a group to sample more dishes. It is difficult to go wrong with anything here. I always try to stop by when visiting Philadelphia.
I especially liked the beef stew and the lamb merguez. It's all mezze style so you can choose many small dishes.
Try $42.00 menu. You will get totally 16 courses and everything was really perfect taste. Waiters know how to serve and have knowledge about foods. One of the best restaurant in Philadelphia.
It's all about the hummus. My personal favorite is the tehina. Then have fun with the small plates. The fried cauliflower, crispy Haloumi and grilled duck hearts are particularly good.
The best Israeli food in town. #1 hummus.
You can't go wrong with anything on Chef/Owner Solomonov's menu, but don't miss the Whole Roasted Lamb Shoulder with Pomegranate and Chickpeas. And the Sweetbreads changed our lives.
Pro tip: The Tayim Tasting Menu is a bargain at $39 for five courses.
Eat at the bar. Tori is awesome!!!!!!!
The Tayim tasting menu was a great deal and provided for a ton of food! Turkish hummous was soooo tasty. Everything was great - you cannot go wrong. Wait staff are very attentive and knowledgeable.
Tasting menu is amazing but make sure you're hungry when you come. The food portions are big.
Incredible. I recommend the salatim, cauliflower, kofte, and chicken. Amazing meal and incredible service. They even brought us complimentary champagne since we were celebrating our anniversary.
Lamb merguez, duck hearts, and konafi 😍😍😍
Chateau Kefraya! Best wine on the menu...from Lebanon. Try it
Chef Marc Vetri and Tony have dinner at Mike Solomonov’s modern Israeli restaurant, Zahav.
By far, the best food I've had in such a long time. I'm a picky eater, and I ate EVERYTHING they put in front of me. Simply delicious. And you get so much food! Highly recommend!!
Get the Turkish hummus- large size!
Get in here for happy hour - half priced hummus and drink dealage at the bar, where one never needs a reservation.
Best food in Philadelphia, hands down. Do the hummus & salads sampler to start, and follow with the crisp-fried cauliflower and the branzino. Do *not* miss the haloumi.
Fantastic cocktail menu - loved the Marble Rye
Try the Carrot Basboosa - Cream cheese mousse, candied hazelnuts
Try the Tehina Semifreddo - Great combo
Try the Chicken Shishlik - With rice pilaf and Brussels sprouts
Try the Fried Potatoes - Kashkaval, cheese, white anchovies, long hots
Try the House Smoked Sable - Challah, fried egg, poppy
Delicious hummus and halloumi. Good happy hour too ( half prices hummus!)
Looking to share food this is your place with a Turkish flare.....#williamsonteam
Astoundingly good. Go for the tasting menu and don't look back. Moroccan chicken and chicken liver mousse are standouts, as is the limonanna cocktail. Made me long for Israel
