$30 for a car. Worth every penny and the time. Scenery is breathtaking & there are plenty of stops for pictures. End your trip with beers with a view at the Zion brew pub toward the southern entrance!

Amazing place! You must start from the Narrows hike-Riverside walk first thing in the morning! I recommend getting your butt up at 7am and line up for the free shuttle! Views are spectacular! Looove!!

Try hiking the Kolob Canyons. The 5-mile & 14-mile trails make perfect 4- or 8- hour trips. The longer trail takes you to Kolob Arch, one of the largest natural arches in the world. Read more

Definitely take the time to check out the Kolob Canyons if you are spending a couple of days here. Its 45 mins away from Springdale. Its a short scenic drive with unbelievable views

Angels Landing was amazing and I hope to do it again, but I don't think my youngest would care for the heights. I'm so glad I came up to escape Las Vegas. What a way to see Zion; a world class trail!

Awesome, of the parks on the great plain, Grand, Zion, and Bryce. I like Zion the best. Check out Angels Landing, Temple of Sinawava, and if you can get a back country pass to Subway and narrows

Breath taking views and amazing hikes. First timers - I would recommend Angels Landing and the Narrows from bottom up. Can be extremely crowded during holidays.

This park is truly incredible and my favorite so far. There is a great variation of sights, trails, and activities. Can't wait to visit again.

There's a reason the Mormons called this place God's Temple. Unbelievably beautiful. Do the West Rim trail and spend the night out that way. You'll be overwhelmed with nature. Strenuous backpacking.

Gotta bring your polls and do the Narrows (I think bringing a camera in a waterproof case is very worth it if you're okay with the risk). Also highly recommend both Emerald Pool trails.

The last .7 miles to the top of Angel's Landing is pretty harrowing, w/ sheer drops on both sides and only chains to hold on to, but if you can deal with heights, then the view is TOTALLY worth it.

Extremely beautiful National Park. You should hike, go to the backcountry, do rock climbing, go to the Narrows, and just enjoy the views.

The lines into the park and to the shuttle are incredibly long. It's a petty that such s beautiful park is managed that poorly. More shuttles are required at peak times! The park is a nature marvel!

Never hiked anything like the Zion narrows before. It is challenging but absolutely amazing. I'm an amateur hiker but I had a blast. Be sure to rent boots and sticks.

The Narrows is my favorite hike of all time. Bring two trekking poles and you'll speed past others who are slipping around with just one giant walking stick.

This NP is much better laid out than Yosemite especially the use if shuttle buses. Trails are well laid out. I actually preferred it to Yosemite which was too epic.

In the Summer months get a tent spot in South Campground; lots 70-75 offer quick back-door access to an icy swimming hole and mini-beach!

Drive into the park and take a right at junction. When the road goes right for the second time there is a little parking area. Go down the hill and find the creek. Great place to swim and cliff jump.

Your feet will feel like there about to fall off but your body will thank you for the exercise. Plus, there isn't a place here that doesn't have a view of the canyons and rocks for miles around.

Go to the Adventure store in Springdale to rent water shoes if you want to take on the Narrows.. So many people wear tennis shoes or sandals for some reason; not a great idea!

If you hike the Narrows be sure to wear some kind of footwear that has hard soles and plenty of ankle support and that's at least some what water resistant. Also be prepared to get soaking wet.
