They have a patio, but you have to go downstairs, down the hall and upstairs again. Moved to the east end and I miss this place. Enjoyed every meal here. Try the roasted seasoned almonds!

The menu changes every season, so most of these tips are out of date. They always have a home made sausage on the menu, which is always great.

Service is second to none, food is always phenomenal, fresh and unique and the atmosphere, relaxed and welcoming. It's my favourite neighbourhood restaurant hands down!

Try the pickled pickerel with blueberries - phenomenal with rye crackers. Not a ton of wine to choose from here, but the selection tastes great and is priced at only $33/bottle.

Pork sausage, corn hummus, salads ,grilled peaches, & peppers. All are available at Zocalo, where the meats are exceptionally well-paired with ciders & stouts. Great atmosphere also. Read more

I have never had a bad meal here. In fact, the flavours have made me laugh out loud with surprise and joy on at least two occasions.

Broken bread (read: deconstructed) sandwiches, great soups, decent wines. A shining beacon on what otherwise would be a dead stretch of Bloor
