If you are in the mood for hiking and history, two of the biggest pyramids in México are about two hours away by car, or you can take a bus that brings you there and back.

Bring a hat and comfy shoes as well as sun screen. You will want to walk around and climb the pyramids. Do it early otherwise it gets very hot! Also you will get better pictures without too many ppl.

a great day trip: we went early Monday morning (perhaps why it was not as crowded). bring a hat and sunglasses and sunscreen. start with the Sun, then walk your way to the Temple, then the Moon last.

Climb a small pyramid to warm up. The Pyramid of the Moon is steep on the second row of steps. The Pyramid of the Sun is even steeper. Become a god here. Also buy a jaguar whistle.
