    If you live anywhere in Greater London and love animals, membership is worth the investment. It's expensive but you can come as often as you like, and includes Whipsnade Zoo as well.

    Amazing zoo, the animals were quite active the day I went and a few came right up to the barriers so it was the closest I had seen many animals.

    Excellent day out! Be prepared for lots of walking around so wear comfy shoes! Worth prebooking tickets online as they can be a queue (though it moves very quickly)

    great zoo. lion exhibit is new and about as interactive as you can get with a lion exhibit. lots of places to play and eat. The reptile house is a Bonus for Harry Potter fans.

    Love it!One of the most interesting zoo's I've ever been to. The Lions are A M A Z I N G, penguins and flamingos too. Don't miss the Gorilla family !! :) definitely I'm coming back again and again.

    Parking is around £15 for the day, but it's valid until midnight so if you go as a tourist you get a chance to look round London after your visit to the zoo without worrying about the car

    Visiting in the winter means a more peaceful experience to enjoy the animals. Some may be inside for the winter, so be sure to mosey in when you can't spot them outside.

    Squirrel Monkey: Ask the zoo keeper (not the red jumper volunteers, but the guys in green tops) when they feed them. That's the best time to see all of them together, including the new three babies!

    Nice zoo (love the penguin beach by the way) there are many species of animals here but from tube to the zoo needs some energy. Take a bus instead.

    It was lovely i want to go again ! Its big & you will walk a lot , so wear comfy shoes .. If you were going with a child - go early so you can see everything ..

    Very expensive! £62.50 for 1 adult and 2 kids (including £5 donation, which wasn't exactly optional...). But the infrastructure is good and you can get quite close to the animals.

    Avoid the Pavilion restaurant after the 1.30 penguin feeding as the queue is then long and table space limited. Also roasts not great, meat like leather and veggies cold :-(

    In the main cafe by the gift shop buy your coffee at the small coffee bar at the front of the cafe. It's far better quality.

    There is only one cashpoint (ATM) in the zoo and that's in the gift shop and it charges you. Always bring cash with you in case the machine is broken. As I said, there's only ONE cashpoint (ATM)

    The last ticket is sold just one hour before closing, which doesn't give you much time. And if you plan to take pictures for commercial use, you'll need to get official permission ahead of time.

    Билеты покупайте онлайн-без очереди и дешевле. На весь зоопарк нужно примерно часа четыре. В павильоне с бабочками, они летают прямо по помещению! Могут даже сесть на вас:) Львов нет до 2016 года:(
