Modern take on classic Italian dishes. So much good food (and wine) here. Be sure to have the truffle special, heavy hand on the truffle shave makes this well worth it.
This seabass carpaccio is to die for. Smothered in pickled chillies and Zucca's brilliant olive oil...
Try the prosciutto ham starter, amazing! The menu is really limited and if you don't fancy anything they will cater to your request.
Sea bass carpaccio is to die for...
Disappointed. It's good but not that good. In the same vein we prefer the Union Street cafe. Food was good but not inventive. Venue is like my own dining room so nothing special.
Separate vegetarian menu which was a rare treat (just ask), delicious ribollita worthy of Tuscany (although bread wasn't stale enough), open kitchen so expect to smell a bit foody afterwards.
Lovely staff and allergen menu at the ready. We had the squid bruschetta and the mussles to start, and the swordfish and the ox cheek ragu - all phenomenal flavours and cooked to perfection.
Italian food just the way it should be.
Definitely overrated and overpriced. Sorry
The zucca fritti was good but slightly salty. The veal ravioli was tasty but portions were terribly tiny for the price!
The menu varies everyday. We had the grilled squid today which was exquisite.
Is there a better pannacotta in the world .. I doubt it !
Sat at the bar which isn't terrible. Best fritters. There was a linguini special which was to die for! Main had duck and the gnocchi! Superb! The chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce topped it off
The melanzana and Zucca friti are amazing starters! Il postre chocolat and caramel get you wild! Hmm, one of the best to come...
Ze vino is great- best Italian in london
The Zucca Fritti exceeds, wow, excellent!!
By far the best Italian restaurant I've been too. Excellent wines too.
Only one vegetarian dish - vegetable tagliatelle. Really expensive and pretentious. The pasta was extremely salty. When I complained the waiter said "oh sorry to hear that". That's it.
Don't miss the rabbit bruschetta and the pasta is a must!
Amazing - great well executed piedmont food
The porchetta was great!
Veal Chop (Time Out London's 100 Best Dishes)
The best panacota in the world!!!!!!!!!
Truffle is in season! Treat yourself with special truffle pasta, it's fantastic!!!!!!!
Veal chop is 10/10
They always have 2 recommended wines. I always get a bottle of the red as I know it will be good and it makes me try something different.
Excellent, light & refreshing. Finally, a good restaurant in London. Zucca Fritti good.
Many have likened this little Italian to the early days of The River Café - superb Italian cooking
One of my top 3 restaurants in London. Simple, fragrant, modern Italian. The fish and starters are always fab. Need to book ahead!
If you get here in truffle season, you're in for a treat.
the mission of this restaurant is too focus on flavors, in their simplest and purest form. They accomplish everything they claim and more! Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant.
An amazing restaurant with wonderful staff. BOOK!
If there are 1 or 2 of you ask to eat at the bar. Great fun watching the super efficient chefs at work. Also, bar may be free if all tables are booked.
yummmy, yum, yum
Starter are better than main, main course just not special enough, can easily cook the same thing at home.
remember to ask for the specials, they're not well advertised, and try to share as many anti-pastas as you can
Book or you stand no chance. Outstanding.
Awesome pastas, and well priced starters. The veal chop is most excellent.
Try any pasta, they are all exceptional.
Really excellent food and the service is unbelieveably brilliant, a definate hit
Go for the Zucca Fritti, a little heaven awaits you!!
Incredible carpaccio starter and perfectly seasoned throughout. Yum.
