This is the best hotel to book, if you're running the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. It's literally right next to the start and finish area: Nathan Phillips Square. Free breakfast on 43rd Fl.

Much better than the Westin. . The club lounge is beautiful. Actually like a rooftop restaurant.

Good downtown hotel. No free WiFi in rooms but that is typical of metropolitan hotels. Nice bar and nice staff.
Nice touristy views but disappointing service levels from conference staff. Oh, and I was checked in to a room already occupied by another guest. Unpleasant surprise when I walked in to the room!

Get a room on 26 or up to be on the same elevator bay as the club lounge
Regardless of what time of day you check in be prepared to spend a painfully long time checking in

Resist the urge to order expensive room service! Got a really dry burger with a stale bun for $20. :| Grab a hotdog & fries from the food truck across the street instead! They are there late too!
At the bar/restaurant "BnB", get the tri-color Nacho's!!!!

Horror movie fire staircase in southwest corner; floors 2-4 must be seen to be believed.
1st night: jack-hammering outside that STARTED at 12:00am Sunday night (what's wrong with this city?!?). Hotel staff upgraded me for free and moved me to the other tower on the club-level well done!
