- Nouf B.MJune 10, 2015The hotel was originally built in 1907, they have all the classic details displayed for you, it's like a hotel/museum. Location is GREAT right in front of union square.
- Beautiful hotel and comfortable accommodation. Immediate proximity to Union Square and the buzz of the city. Beware - internet connection is appalling and not suited to the business traveller.
- Wayne AndermanJune 22, 2013The many historical displays In the lobby as well as menus books and other items from the turn-of-the-century are truly a great way to spend About half an hour.
- The front entry is so glamorous. Marble with such a detailed ceiling... I read the history of this hotel and it is pretty great. Check out its Wilkipedia page.
- Brian StraussJune 26, 2018Decent remodeled rooms that are a tad on the small side. Comfortable Westin beads. The Clock bar is one of the best in the Westin system. A busy hotel. Check in can take a awhile.

- The Corcoran GroupJune 19, 2011Walk past the reception, make a left and ride the glass elevator for the best views overlooking the bay. Then hit the Clock Bar for an inventive cocktail – try the Hawaii 5.1.

- DoubleDeuceMay 30, 2023A solidly convenient location. Interesting characters in the hotel bar. High ceilings in the rooms make them feel more luxurious.
- Has a Hertz counter in the lobby, which is choice. Other than that, your standard tired Westin. Get a room on a high floor and you'll have a nice view of Union Square and the water.
- Ms HeleneJune 3, 2018Huge hotel means big gym and big bars and restaurants on site in tourist central area. Small rooms though.
