Very nice breakfast with amazing view. Big swimming pool and private beach. Rooms are not brand new like Sheraton in Barra da Tijuca but the beds are comfortable and it’s very clean.

Food is good but as always in hotels, overpriced.- 👌. Room service is outstanding. The staff is also super helpful.. Best hotel in Rio de Janeiro

The best hotel in Rio. Excelent views, with an empty beach next to it. A little old (ugly 70s building) but in the process of beig refurbished.
VallyriMarch 25, 2015There's a mini fridge in rooms, they charge for internet/breakfast. Don't walk out of the premises at night, people have gotten mugged several times. The beach is by far it's best feature.
Ask for a blue towel near the fitness center, pick your spot by the pool, and order an "agua de coco" (fresh coconut). Relax, you're in Rio!

As a SPG member, these issues stand out.- Mark WMarch 9, 2014SPG Gold/Plat members can also check in/out on the 26th floor and avoid the mess downstairs. No room key needed for elevator.

For some reason the wireless internet only worked properly next to the room door....
Some rooms have free water, some don't 3 euros a bottle.
Only private beach in rio, v close to leblon. Great views and safe. Club lounge on 4th floor outstanding - late breakfast till 11am, afternoon tea and evening cocktails 5-7pm inc caipirinhas
- Watch out for preauthorization on credit card they do it without notice, then they don't know about until they check
Nice view but crappy overpriced rooms and no free wifi. Don't stay here if you can afford somewhere else
