Love that the public areas are connected and part of the sunny skylight courtyard, an adaptive reuse of what used to be the interiors of the old General Post Office building.
Had a great night here. Just make sure the room you're given is the room you've paid for. Concierge attempted to switch ours without telling us. Luckily my girlfriend was on the ball! Nice try.
Room is modern, service is good & fast, the location is convenience with short walk to train station & 800m to circular quay. Breakfast is variety and good quality .
One of my favourite hotels in sydney. The internal architecture is simply stunning. Wifi is expensive. Plenty of restaurants nearby so don't eat there!
Nice hotel, friendly staff, couldn't have asked for a better location, literally in the heart of the city. If you intend to explorer the city by foot, best option
While I still maintain hotels should include wifi for guests (because HELLO it's 2013) $20 a day by comparison to other hotels isn't bad. Also the rooms are lovely & the location is great. Happy.

Historical and ornate hotel in the hear of the city and only a few blocks from the Opera House and the Harbor. Lots of restaurants, shopping and nightlife
Do not try to het a taxi here, just walk up to George st. Rooms can feel dark since it is city center so request levels 26-31 for some blue sky, exec lounge is a distant second to sheraton on park.
If arriving via the pedestrianised Martin Place the entrance isn't very obvious: looks for the sign that says 1 and hotel. The reception will be at the far side of the beautiful lobby as you enter.
Executive loungebreakfast not as good as mosaicbreakfast. View is nice, but would rather have better food. The Exec room difference is leather seats and bed head. Service to room is quick.
Not sure how I feel about it. Huge rooms, but a little dated considering recent renovation. Wifi prices farcical & no real upgrades for SPG members. Location makes up for some of it.
Super modern inside, the rooms feel like Apple Stores with beds. Five minutes from everything. No free wifi, costs $26 a day to connect to the Internet.
Mossée Choice - High tea at Level 1 Mosaic restaurant – located in the heart of Sydney Mosaic, showered with sunlight from the GPO atrium and overlooking the magnificent GPO Courtyard, surpasses all
CC alert 8 hours since checking out! I drove to hotel they said: we missed a bottle of wine! But I don't drink! OK we will refund it! Why didn't you call me? We didn't want you to pay roaming fees!
Beautiful hotel, comfy bed unfortunately poor attention to detail by the staff. Perhaps it's time to bring hotel computer systems out of the dark ages.

The most disappointing Westin I've been to. No free water in the room, WiFi is very pricey and the single restaurant has a one page menu. At 400+ aud per night, I'd stay elsewhere
Part 2 of my tip: When you give them your credit card they take $100 out as a security bond and don't immediately pay it back, and don't inform you they are doing this either. How is that even legal?
