Munch is one of my favorite artists, I always enjoy visiting this place. Don't skip it just because the scream isn't here, his other work is definitely worth it too.

Now I know a lot more about Munch beyond his infamous The Scream pieces. We visited during the Munch vis-a-vis Van Gough exhibit, which was an interesting way to learn about artists' work

Great artist, great collection and exhibitions. I've seen the one making a parallel with Robert Mappelthorpe

Definitively worthy visiting though an exhibition is relatively small as judged against expectations to the museum dedicated to the most prominent artist of the country

A much smaller museum than I had expected. Viewed the works at a leisurely pace and still finished in less than an hour

Exhibition changes several times a year. The Scream is of course the main piece. Interesting works but small museum though. You can enjoy the botanical garden after your visit.

This is not a permanent exhibition, it changes like every 3-4 months. The idea is good, but not all the expositions are worth seeing (like the Melgaard+Munch)

The museum has only 24 pieces of Munch and it’s so small!!! If it wasn’t for “The Scream”, I guess it would be empty..

Security is obnoxious. Only bring a small bag or you will have to put it in a locker. It is like going through the airport.

Closed for changing location by 2020 or so. On the good side: it was free to see a few paintings they had on display.

Não há exposição permanente: eles fazem um rodízio do acervo com exposições temáticas. Um jeito diferente de exibir as obras do artista.
