their chirashi is especially fresh and excellent. salmon, mackerel, and fluke are usually the best quality. best sushi for value and quality in the EV.- Sushi and sashimi combo for two is a great deal at $48 and you will leave full and happy. Still my favorite sushi spot in the hood.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in NY. Fresh and tasty food, down to earth place and lovely Japanese staff .... always highly recommended: Wild shrimp tempura - miso soup - tiger roll etc ...- My favorite affordable neighborhood sushi spot. Salmon sashimi is amazing. All of the rolls are good as is the rock shrimp tempura, crab shumai and shisito pepper skewers!
Great, affordable sushi. Get an order of ohitashi to start and follow with some nigiri, sashimi, or maki.

Love the Kinuta Maki (eel and avocado wrapped in cucumber). We actually get all of our sushi without rice and it's fantastic!

Great rolls for reasonable price. Avoid sitting at the bar near the hostess unless you want to dodge plates coming at your head left & right

Order the superman roll. It's not on the menu, but it's tuna, avocado, mango, tempura flakes, and spicy may.

Solid reasonable neighborhood all-time fav. Go early if you want a chance for the hamachi kama. Order from their daily specials menu!
Ina LiMarch 15, 2016It's not bad food but honestly it should be a 7 not a 9. Overall too salty and saucy, more fit for American tastes. Salmon sashimi was thin and not fresh. Recommend una don and scallop, uni sushi.
Jack is the best! So friendly! Great salmon sashimi and brown rice. Order two orders of salmon, brown rice, and crab shumai. You will be set!
