- Kasey MaOctober 8, 2014My new go-to sushi spot. The fish is so fresh and for the price, it's unbelievable. The sea urchin hand roll, baby yellowtail, and salmon are all to die for. Also, jack is the man!!

- Harrison JohnsonSeptember 1, 2017This place has fantastic food for good prices! Skewer variety + sushi sashimi combo for two + single unagi roll each was perfect for two. Most of all amazing vibes- the staff is great
- Annabelle RaymondOctober 2, 2019We had the 007 roll and the samurai roll- both were great. The shrimp tempura appetizer was more like deep fried shrimp, and I think the entree was more of a traditional tempura. Wish we got that!
- DoubleDeuceMarch 11, 2015Best sushi in the area. No reservations so come early or be happy to wait. Great sashimi dinner and plenty of sake options without the obnoxious crowd. Don't miss the beautiful artwork!
- Nikki BogopolskayaMay 4, 2014My go-to sushi spot in the East Village. Sit at the sushi bar and chat with Jack, the chef. He's hilarious and the high quality + unique sushi here is an amazing bang for your buck.

- Duuce AOctober 16, 2013My husband has come here like 11 years ago with his Japanese friend so a real Japanese restaurant! Crab dumplings and black cod fish are amazing!

- This place serves up some of the best-tasting sushi you can find in the price range, and the staff is always professional.
- PeterSeptember 15, 2012The fish is super fresh. But the real secret is the udon. The broth is too good! I suggest the simple Yasai Udon to compliment you sushi.
- Margarita KrupSeptember 21, 2015Great sushi place!! Always fresh food. The specials are always good, especially the baby yellow tail sashimi.
- Rahil BeraniFebruary 20, 2020Good sushi, big fan of the skewers... also the sake comes in a wooden box; that’s a first for me

- CarolineJune 15, 2015The black cod was a great appetizer. The sushi was pretty good, but next time I would go for their other dishes as those seemed more interesting.
- Order the superman roll. It's not on the menu, but it's tuna, avocado, mango, tempura flakes, and spicy may.

- Solid reasonable neighborhood all-time fav. Go early if you want a chance for the hamachi kama. Order from their daily specials menu!
- Ina LiMarch 15, 2016It's not bad food but honestly it should be a 7 not a 9. Overall too salty and saucy, more fit for American tastes. Salmon sashimi was thin and not fresh. Recommend una don and scallop, uni sushi.
- Jack is the best! So friendly! Great salmon sashimi and brown rice. Order two orders of salmon, brown rice, and crab shumai. You will be set!
- Carl FigueiredoJune 25, 2015Chirashi and sashimi were excellent. Great value. Casual, clean, and delicious.
