- Mia AOctober 17, 2016Absolute favorite Vietnamese place ever, been going here since I was a small child and it never gets old. Can't even recommend anything because everything is amazingUpvoted Feb 17
- Liza FrybergerDecember 27, 2015Awesome pho spot. My normal go-to is further downtown in China town and this spot is a bit closer to work. Delicious fried spring rolls and pho broth to die for. Awesome place for a hot, quick meal!
- Always satisfied when you walk in these doors. Service is quick fast and always piping hot when to comes to those plentiful bowls of flavorful broths and thin slices of beef. True artists#pho
- DensOctober 31, 2012Hard to go wrong with the #10. Pro tip: the plate of greens / sprouts isn't a salad... put it in the soup, put the 2 sauces in too, then mix it all up!
- Amy ChenJune 7, 2015I got the Tai nam gau gan sach: combination rice noodles beef soup with fresh eye of round, brisket, tendon, and omosa. Huge portions. Great for groups + end of a long day.
- David MilbergNovember 11, 2016Pretty good pho. I get the Pho Tai that comes with fresh eye of round beef. Not very adventurous but its really good. I also love the fried Vietnamese spring rolls that you wrap in lettuce. Yum!
- Lizzy SaxeNovember 16, 2014Best pho I've had in NYC. If you're from the West Coast like me, the broth will disappoint you, but the meat is amazing. They put it in raw. Get the #1, even if they tell you you want #8.
- Dan PanJanuary 29, 2014banh cuon (steamed rice crepe with wood ear mushrooms and pork), cha gio (fried springrolls wrapped in rice paper) and bo luc lac (beef cubes with lemon and garlic, served with lettuce for wrapping)
- Chefs FeedAugust 3, 2016"The phở is the obvious reason to go. Just order extra meat and don't forget to get the tripe and tendon, too." - Chef Albert Di Meglio Read more
- John AJuly 30, 2015Clean fast Vietnamese food. Carnivores: try the Bun Bo Hue, one of better in Chinatown. Vegetarians: try the Rau Maoung. Yes it grows in swamps, but stir fried with garlic its tasty!
- Heri AndreanDecember 23, 2014One of the squeeze bottles at your table is the fish sauce 'nước mắm', a Vietnamese flavor staple. You don't see this lesser pho joints in America. Your soup will benefit from a squirt or two Read more
- Adam GertzOctober 20, 2012This is the best Vietnamese food outside of Vietnam. I love this best. Get a large number 8 (pho with eye of round and brisket) and add a little plum sauce, siracha and mint leaves. Quality meal.
- Foxxy BJune 18, 2017The grilled shrimp app is awesome. Phở is hot & tasty. Very simple, hole in the wall spot. No thrills dining. Honestly, I prefer An Choi. Cash only!!
- Kathy LiuNovember 16, 2014This place is pho heaven. Get #1 or #2 on the menu and a side of spring rolls. Do it and be happy in food heaven.
- Jess NaldoJuly 9, 2015Great bowl of fresh and flavorful pho for super cheap and the extra large is big enough to share! Order the #1 and just go to town 😋
- John FonteinJanuary 16, 2018The best Vietnamese in NY by far. Get the grilled chicken on rice and thank me later. 💯🍾🔥

- The go to pho restaurant in NYC. The dudes sound like my dad but curse a whole lot more. They also play a lot of American pop music older Vietnamese people tend to love. What's there not to love?
- Definitely order the pho with soup because they're using the thin flat noodles instead of the cheap substitute that most Vietnamese restaurants use in Chinatown.
- #8 pho and the spring rolls were both great and unbelievably good value.
- Ben MackeyJuly 17, 2014You can't go past the Pho. Beef is finely sliced, chicken comes cooked on the side. Both are excellent and the meals are huge.
- Nick HolroydMay 20, 2016Rich, complex, anise forward beef broth. I got the chicken and it came on the side which I've never seen before, but it was excellent.
- Aaron BouvierSeptember 9, 2016Bún Chả Hà Nội was really good—best I've had outside of Vietnam (so far). Washed it down with a house-made Salty Lemonade. Cash only, FYI.
- Zachary gorenDecember 14, 2014Most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I've had since I was in Saigon. Yes to the Bun Bo hue.
- Zachary gorenJanuary 3, 2015Best Bun Bo Hue I've had since being in Vietnam last year. Actually, the most authentic experience altogether since being in Vietnam.
- Ray LinMarch 21, 2013The best Pho with the best flavor I've ever had in NYC. Go with the extra meat add-on and you'll be real happy with yourself.
- chin1taJanuary 27, 2017nothing like a big warm bowl of broth and noodles!!! and your meat of choice. many condiments at the table!
- Rafi SyedFebruary 15, 2012beef pho (with just the eye round) is delicious. ask for extra meat or you'll have half a meatless soup. spice it up with the plum sauce and sriracha.
- Paul BDecember 29, 2011Very good. Slow service. Lots of locals. The noodles with pork chops was the best dish. Also try the appetizer that you wrap in lettuce with mint. 4 people ate for $52.
- Kevin GrantNovember 16, 2016Seems like you can't really go wrong with anything here. I went off the popular recommendations here and was not disappointed.
- suyog modySeptember 23, 2013Best pho I've had in a long while. Try also have some beer (not on menu). Bathrooms are nasty. Prices are cheap.
- Kimmie OhhNovember 20, 2019You obviously come here for the pho! Get extra meat, stir in the sauces & eat up!
- MaximilianMay 2, 2011The food is delicious. Overall experience could be better, not a fan of the top 40 radio & commercials, but highly recommend if in the area & looking for a great, cheap bite.
- Yera HaJune 3, 2015The perfect trifecta: authentic, delicious, cheap. You can get a bowl of meatless pho for $4.75.
- ShahJuly 8, 2017This place is super, super solid. The lemongrass grilled chicken on rice was delicious.
- Chau TranSeptember 14, 2018I’ve always loved the Pho here, but today they added extra meat without asking me and charged me more. I don’t mind paying a few more dollars but I’d say bye to someone who did things behind my back.
- Evelyn TanApril 21, 2016The service is decent and beef is nice. However, the noodles and soup taste funny and is not authentic. Though the noodles used is the same as other pho restaurants in US but it tasty really out.
- Sam HOctober 20, 2015Extremely delicious pho, go with the number 1 when in doubt and always order a Vietnamese iced coffee!
- J TamFebruary 12, 2011Best Pho in the city. Very comforting. Best beef broth. Spring rolls are tasty with the accompanying fish sauce. You need to try their coffee too. Fantastic!
- Samantha TanMarch 1, 2014Pho is decent, but my go to is to order the Bun Cha Ha Noi. Tons of delicious grilled pork!
- The spring and summer rolls are great. My favorite is #8 pho.
- Rob GrandeApril 3, 2016Try the Vietnamese coffee! Probably the most authentic one I've had in the city
- Mike YinMarch 30, 2015Best broth I've had in NYC, but that's not a high bar. Noodles definitely tasted like they were from a dry package.
- H ChongSeptember 30, 2010Staple comfort food : Order the Pork Chop Rice. Comes with a badly sliced up cucumber and sweet sauce on the side. Two big slabs of pork over a mountain of rice. Heaven.
- The pho is great. No need to add hoisin. Tear up some basil leaves and put it in
