After you pay for everything, if it's nice outside, the best and closest place to enjoy your baked goods and beverages is Bleecker Street Park, which is caddy corner from Magnolia.

Anyone who visits NYC must take a detour to visit this bakery! Their cupcakes are amazing. My absolute favorite RED VELVET! Their banana pudding is also very tasty, to die for!

Definitely has become a popular tourist spot, but good thing is that cupcakes are so fresh since the waiting line is quite long, and cupcakes go out very quick.

Their cupcakes are even better than you've heard. I love them and I don't even like cupcakes (I make an exception for theirs)! Also try the mini-cheesecakes and the banana pudding is delectable!

What is not to love about the famous Magnolia Bakery? Try anything and EVERYTHING-- especially the cupcakes! They make a great treat and a well appreciated gift! We love S'mores and red velvet cupcake

Bake 7.3: Famous cupcake place in NY. Only downside is that they often run out very quickly so the selection can be restricted because as soon as they come out of the oven they are pretty much sold. Read more

Red Velvet Cupcakes. You can't live in New York or visit New York without coming here. Delicious and a tourist attraction. It's been in Sex and the City so obviously you have to go!

I must be the only person to receive an extremely dry and disappointing red velvet cupcake here (based on other tips). every other flavor I've tried was great though - a nice stop for tourists!

The banana pudding is like no pudding you've ever had before. It is simply amazing. However I had a slice of caramel cake once and that was a mistake. It was very dry.

The bakery that began the cupcake craze is still the best. We suspect it’s the lick-your-fingers-to-get-the-last-bit-of-butter-cream frostings and fillings. They do a mean banana pudding too.

Any New Yorker knows you don't go to Magnolia's for the cupcakes. Dry sponge, hard icing. But the banana pudding... People would kill for that straight up crack.

This specific location of Magnolia Bakery on Bleecker St is what started the cupcake craze in NY & then took over the rest of the country. The red velvet cupcake really does taste the best here...

Honestly, the best cupcake I have ever had. Vanilla with pink buttercream frosting!! So moist and delicious!
