Misook JiJuly 21, 2014This place has been here for a long time even before NYkers knew what sushi is. Not fancy but solid. Great place to hang out & enjoy food at sushi bar when you are alone. Great for big groups too!

The new beverage menu features an appealing and shorter sake list, 4 by the glass, 5 bottles. A personal fave, Onigoroshi, made the cut.

David ChenDecember 26, 2015The the salmon steak lunch entrée was amazing . Get it with the miso soup and spicy salmon roll :)- Sushi lunch has morped for the 3rd time in recent months. It's expanded to include 2 pieces of salmon, yellow tail & tuna.
Sunnie ParkMay 12, 2012The pre-fixe dinner (2 entrees, choice of miso or veggie soup), rice and salad is about 15.00. It's a great deal. Definitely worth it.- 3 more pieces of nigiri sushi -- salmon, yellow tail, tuna -- have replaced futomaki in Sharaku's sushi lunch (4/14/14).

$8.95 miso soup, salad, spicy salmon, main dish, bottomless green tea cups and fruit for dessert... Until 4:45!

Ignore jordys comments. He's just butthurt. Service was good. Food was great. Nice spot.
- Brown rice has been added to the menu, a welcome develpment.
- Grade A rating from NYC Health Dept. is back & sticking.

Not the best sushi but I enjoy eating here since it was my very 1st sushi spot way back when I was 20yrs old.
This place is awesome if you like japanese food =] I highly reccomend the chicken of sharaku.
Anyone who knows sushi, knows this place is pretty much garbage, fortunately for them, most of its patrons are college kids from middle America that don't know any better and write glowing reviews
