- Serious EatsOctober 26, 2011Choices like Provolone-Olive bread, Sesame-Sunflower bread, and Corn-Cheddar bread are sold by the pound. If you stop by on a Sunday, make sure to try the Chocolate Cherry Sourdough. Read more
- Excellent scones, personally I love the cherry ones. The pizza is delicious and perhaps less known,so is their coffee.
- AliceMarch 26, 2017Their cowgirl cookie is like that of levain bakery in NY. Humongous, delicious, and chocolatey
- RossSeptember 28, 2016The scones are truly wonderful. My personal favorite is the currant/oatmeal apricot.
- J JohnFebruary 24, 2023The best independent bakery in the city. Everything is delicious and meticulously put together. By far the best baguettes in SF, the pecan rolls are worth going to confession over. Great service, A++
- Serious EatsFebruary 6, 2012If you're here on a Saturday, try the 'Beet-za' ($2.50), a combination of sweet roasted heirloom beets and funky, pungent Gorgonzola cheese along with cooked-down arugula and a sprinkling of parsley. Read more
- J JohnMay 24, 2017The pecan cinnamon buns are incredible; worth every calorie! Shortbread cookies are meh; they can't touch Claire's Squares. Baguettes are good, so is the "pizza" although it's really fancy fociacca
- Don't miss the triple mushroom pizza with sesame ginger garlic vinaigrette. Only on the menu once a month or so. Sells out fast.
- Tyler JohnsonJune 28, 2015One of the best pizza joints I've ever been too. Make sure to grab some fresh breadsticks on your way to the register. The outside seating is perfect too.
- You will not be disappointed with anything you get here! Some items I'd recommend: foccacia bread, onion bialy, pizza, salted caramel cake, granola & chocolate chip cookies.
- This is one of my favorite bakeries. Definitely try the AMAZING vegetarian pizza of the day on sourdough crust and a scone!
- Stealth pick: the Chocolate Thing is less sweet than other choices, perfect with coffee
- Try the Pizza Of The Day - The pizza is different (and vegetarian) every day, but usually pretty delicious. Admittedly not as fantastic as Cheese Board in Berkeley, though.
- David RosenbergMay 11, 2014Get the green tea shortbread because yolo and because it's delicious. And don't sleep on the currant scone, not that you would.
- Robin HammermanApril 30, 2018Baking fabulous.. corn blueberry scones bialys when they have them but customer service and a smile are impossible to get! Attitude poor.. but very popular for their delicious baking..
- Lisa Harper CarterJuly 8, 2015Every pizza of the day is great, even those that sound iffy at first glance. Also, cookies and scones are perfection.
- Their scones are great, but I love their breadsticks as more of a midday snack. Salted, crunchy, crispy goodness. At around a buck a pop, it's a perfect midday treat!
- Megan DoakApril 9, 2013Genuine people working here, fair prices, organic whole wheat, gluten free options, good coffee, and a parklet directly outside...why wouldn't you come here?!
- BommySeptember 11, 2016Daily pizza specials are solid but also try the focaccia bread. Focaccia is warm, chewy, and fluffy.
- Angelica WAugust 18, 2015Lovely vegetarian pizza. A must if you like cheeseboard style pizza but also need tomato sauce
- Sherry RenDecember 15, 2014Just can't stop taking another bite on the oat scone. Love the not-so-sweet flavor and it's huge.
- Pizza is great. The baguettes are fabulous. The scones are delicious... but brioche is divine.
- Onur ErbilginAugust 1, 2016Cheese+tomato round focaccia, ginger mushroom pizza, almond croissants are amazing when available!!
- JennyJuly 22, 2015Pizza after 11am, great focaccia, sourdough scones, outdoor area. Cash only up to $10
- The baked goods are awesome. The pizza is amazing too. Think of it as the Cheeseboard of San Francisco.
- Alex ChenJuly 29, 2018Coop with sites in the Mission and Berkeley. Rotating goods, but always high quality and tasty.
- Brian FitzgeraldSeptember 26, 2013The employees own the place. Love that. Cookies were hard to walk away from. Bought 5 -- dark chocolate mint!
- Stephanie ChengMarch 7, 2015Delicious baked goods. All of it. Delicious scones and the GF brownie is heavenly.
- Scones, pecan buns, and focaccia are all worth the purchase.
- Ashley MowreyNovember 21, 2014So many vegan and gluten free options. This location has almond milk, unlike the sunset location.
- Steve LeVineSeptember 20, 2013Try the Pizza Of The Day - Mushroom, bell peppers, smoked Gouda, parsley, garlic oil. Awesome.
- BommyJanuary 23, 2016Gluten-free blueberry scone is surprisingly good but gets muffin-y midway through.
- Hot pizzas start at 11 with a rotating menu! Some combos are absolutely incredible
- Becky SnyderApril 18, 2010Real food that tastes great! I could eat their oat scone or cornmeal cherry scone everyday... but then I guess my life would seem kinda boring. I really could though... Great Pizza's too. Read more
- Kevin ColacoJanuary 26, 2016Much prefer the Valencia location. The slices are much more generous there as well
- Norbert HuMay 9, 2011Amazing bakery! It appears every other item is topped with healthy portion of blueberries. Definitely try the blueberry corn muffin.
- BommyJune 22, 2015Shortbreads are gigantic and $2 each but are pretty dry, so not really worth it. Would like to try their pizzas though.
- Alexandra MoranSeptember 16, 2014Accepts credit cards but has $10 minimum. Also sells cute tote bags for $10 ;)
- On weekends, there is coffee cake. This coffee cake can probably solve most of the world's problems. You should eat this coffee cake.
- The ricciarelli is a delight, but then again so is everything here.
- Kyle Van AukerSeptember 6, 2012Great place to get a tasty slice of the daily pizza. The staff is really friendly here.
