- The Corcoran GroupAugust 19, 2011Just like its downtown brother, you come to this Chinese hotspot for their amazing soup dumplings – get both the crab and the pork – they’re one of the best in NYC.
- Alice NamJanuary 12, 2016Worth the wait. Soup dumpling, the crispy pork, mushroom with bok choy and of course tsingdao! Perfect lunch. Will try the downtown location nxt time tho.
- Lucky enough the live above here! SO tempting to eat every meal from here! Soup dumplings are incredible but don't forget the scallion pancakes, pork dumplings, general Tsao chicken, and everything!
- Derek FromsonDecember 25, 2013Succulent crab and pork soup dumplings are a can't miss. The scallop and shrimp dumplings are very tasty too. The chicken and corn soup and stir-fried noodles with beef are good options for the kids.
- Penn MarchaelOctober 28, 2016Quieter than the China town location. And not family style seating which can be nice. Everything is really delicious and well prepared
- Lacey CappsAugust 13, 2013The best pork soup dumplings & spicy cabbage I've ever had - always my go to lunch spot on a budget! Outstanding freshness & awesome service. Yoko Ono has been known to visit upon occasion. #hotspot
- Village VoiceAugust 15, 2014For the adventuresome there is drunken crab, a sort of ceviche of raw Maryland blues marinated in yellow rice wine, with the cerulean of the shell creating a contrast with the electric-orange roe. Read more
- The pork soup dumplings lived up to my high expectations. Regretted ordering the ~$20 genera tsao's entree at first but that ended up being pretty yummy as well.
- Nate SJune 26, 2018I’m a fan of the Joe’s in Chinatown but I won’t come back to this one. Make the trek downtown instead - the soup dumplings were too dry/everything was 1.5x the price. Silver lining: it’s quiet here
- Carrie LawsonJune 10, 2016The pork soup dumplings are the reason to come! The beef lo mein was incredibly delicious also and the service was miles better than the pushy downtown location.
- FRITZ fritztheyodelerJune 13, 2015The great "soup" wontons... plus everything else. A very authentic and delicious experience is what you will find here.
- R BMay 12, 2015Very quick service, are you in a rush. That's a cool place. Decent price for the region and good stuff. Try the beef with black mushrooms and bamboo shots.
- . WestAugust 3, 2013Far and away, the nicest of the three locations. The dumplings were still amazing and the staff was wonderful. You'll be hard pressed to find a better place to eat in Midtown.
- Kathryn Wong-CrooksNovember 25, 2012Must haves: the salt & pepper shrimp, and their moo shoo pork. Be careful not to over order! Their portions are generous, & besides, why on earth would you want anything but NYC's best soup dumplings?
- Ailie ChangJanuary 20, 2016Soup dumplings are still delish at this location but you pay a higher price and get less dumplings than the Chinatown location. Get the Watermelon Slush :)
- Madison EarlySeptember 9, 2018Soup dumplings are the best in midtown! If you don’t wanna go all the way to Chinatown, this is your best bet.
- natalie kayApril 18, 2016If you only get one thing, make it the soup dumplings. But try more! Pancakes are yummy! Super fast meal.
- Christine JeanjaquetNovember 9, 2013If you want to take home the soup dumplings, call in 3 hours before so you can order them frozen and stock up. Then when you pick up, might as well eat there too. :)
- JamesOctober 9, 2013Definitely the best dumplings I've ever had. Well done, Joe. My only regret is ordering things other than dumplings - after the first taste, they were all I wanted.
- David BanDecember 31, 2015Slightly less charming than the downtown location, but still great. Soup Dumplings, string beans w/ pork, maybe Peking Duck if you're feeling frisky.
- AmateurConciergeJanuary 28, 2015The soup dumplings are the highlight, and I find the crab/pork to be more balanced than the standalone pork offering. Scallion pancakes are well regarded but a bit too doughy in my opinion
- Eman AbdulazizAugust 26, 2018The dumplings are one of the best. I tried the noodles, it was good, but not that delicious.
- Seafood pan fried noodle. Noodle is uniquely delicious and the quality of seafood is super fresh.
- PeggyJuly 17, 2013The soup dumplings are SO much better here compared to their Chinatown location! Plus, you don't have to deal with a wait at all, even during prime lunch time of 12:30!
- Harry NolanDecember 11, 2016Dumplings just as great as everyone says. Was told 45 min queue and sat down after 25. Great Meal - $63 for 2 satisfied people

- J RoMay 31, 2013pork soup dumplings are bomb. they give you less here and it costs more than their Chinatown location. also, their sautéed bok choy with garlic costs $15! eeeeek
- Nathanael ChoSeptember 5, 2015Nicer than the Chinatown location, but also a bit pricier. Really great service (lots of staff) and soup dumplings are of course good.
- Crispy shredded spicy beef. Sweet and slightly garlicky taste. So good.

- Ada ChiuAugust 1, 2011This location has better food, service, and decor than the one in Chinatown in the city, but the prices are nearly double. The dumplings are amazing. Good experience overall.
- Renard RogersFebruary 28, 2016The xiao long bao was pretty good. Great spot to bring a friend for an authentic chinese dumpling experience.
- Jag FirerwalkerApril 12, 2014The soup dumplings are definitely a must have, but the normal ones mmmhh maybe if they would invent something that would make the more soupy.

- KristinaSeptember 5, 2016Free hot tea. Crab & pork soup dumplings are decent, but crab doesn't taste fresh. Soup is good
