Go to Cafe 28 for weekend brunch. The menu is more expansive than their dinner menu, and the food is every bit as good. Be sure to treat yourself to one of the best bloody marys in the city, too.

For Sunday brunch: be prepared to ask for things from your server at least twice. And block off at least an hour-and-a-half from the time you're seated. The food is very tasty - potatoes especially.

Have a margarita or mojito, then grab some green tamales or coconut shrimp for an appetizer. For an entree, you can't go wrong with the halibut, salmon, or super thick honey jalepeno pork chops! Read more

The chorizo stuffed dates are so good you won't be able to control yourself. Huge fan of the pistachio crusted chicken breast.

The hostess is a jerk, but don't let it bother you. Other staff and mojitos, halibut and mmm fried plantains, loved it!

Honey jalepeno pork chop is awesome for brunch or dinner

Absolutely right about ordering the honey jalapeño pork chops, they are fantastic!

They are a bit 'aggressive' in plate clearing so don't pause for too long - dinner should be enjoyed, not rushed.

the stuffed french toast will put you in a wonderful food coma!

Wasn't impressed, especially for the price point. Had the Cuban Chicken and wasn't impressed by its dryness or how different it was from how I imagined it from the menu description.
