- The vegan sandwich is great! Interesting flavor and the highest ratio of avocado I've ever had on a sandwich to satisfy my avocado cravings.

- Best place to introduce your fellows Americans to Russian and Ukrainian basics. Kvas, pelmeni, vareniki, pirozhki, and Napoleon cake.
- Kvas and vegan sandwich is an awesome combination. Vegans be careful with the local bread, it contains buttermilk.
- If you go 1/2hr before they close, all piroshki's are half price. *they do not sell previous day food- it is all baked next door. Fresh every morning*

- Try the Rye Bread - Next to their "Berlin Loaf," this light rye is my favorite bread!
- Piroshki and pelmeni. Kharcho is good too. No one goes home hungry.
