As a native German living in NYC, this place sated my stomach and soul. Service is friendly and the food is authentic and super tasty. For over an hour I was transported to my childhood and Germany.Upvoted 1 week ago

The Jägerschnitzel is overrated. Würst is good, if underwhelming. The goulash & spätzle, however, is fantastic. Have it with tasty beer, and walk out feeling not-as-gut-busted as you might expect.

Zums' never fails to please. My extended family has been coming here for over 40 years. We celebrate our births and honor those we have lost with a gathering at this neighborhood mainstay.
