Patricia LeeFebruary 20, 2017Nice whiskey selection and a fun dining menu. The sushi is fine and the appetizers are good. If you like simpler foods, stay away from the crazy jalapeño egg donburi. It was soupy and overwhelming.
Fresh & delicious. The Fire Lizard packs a lot of flavor without giving you the gut-bust sensation you get from sushi spots that rely on sauce and piling on ingredients.
The Fistful of Bitters is a great mezcal-based cocktail. Try it if you want something balanced, smoky, sweet, & sour.

Like drink flights? This place has flights for sake, multiple whiskies, and bourbon. Gotta try 'em all!

Endearingly mediocre sushi, which is sometimes exactly what you need. And great local bar in back.
I enjoy eating the grilled chicken salad accompanied by green tea lemonade, followed by a ball of the mochi ice cream. Wow.
