I love this park! Come back for the farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Hit up Walter's for a snack. Notice the placards marking the "treetrail" - there are 20 different kinds of trees here!
Hilly with lots of trees. Monument and visitor area are full of interesting info from the revolutionary war. No benches on outer perimeter of park. Only towards the inside area.
Places to Run: Run around the entire 30-acre park, create your own loop starting with one of the many entrances, or opt for the (1.75 laps/mile) fitness path. Read more

Because of the dogs, the park is mostly mud - and the remaining grass has been pooped and peed all over. Needs a doggy pen - like Madison Square park. And they bite me when I run. Irresponsible owners

If your dog poops more than expected, there are several spots along the inner path that have poles equip with emergency poop bags. Feel free to bring extras to leave for others!
