- Houston PressAugust 4, 2014Well-worn wooden floors, low ceilings, British memorabilia, a large bar and good ole English pub food all go to make this one of Houston's favorite pubs. Read more
- Danielle NicoleJuly 18, 2016A very authentic British pub atmosphere with all the dishes you'd expect to see at one.. I also love that this place is dog friendly I just wish the outside patio had more shade or fans
- Phillip WhiteJuly 5, 2013Absolutely lovely atmosphere. I've particularly enjoyed the cheddar soup, and the cheese platter. The Bleu burger is also excellent. The service here has always been cordial and professional.
- Francesco VAugust 15, 2015So hard to decide what to have ordered but trusted my instinct to get the bangers and mash and it didn't disappoint. Nice place to go while visiting Houston.
- Fish and chips is of course expected in a pub. Not as good as it used to be. The fish needs to be crispier.
- Jay VDecember 31, 2011Beef Wellington tastes good but is NOTHING like a real one! It was just a stew with pastry top. Real beef wellington is completely wrapped in pastry - see pic
- Vlad DavidiukSeptember 19, 2016A fun place, but keep in mind, you're paying for the ambiance. The food is middling & the beer is overpriced.
- I agree. Get brunch! If you're into sweet try the English toast. The breakfast frittata is great too.
- Miriam GoldmanAugust 7, 2014Good place for a burger, English food, and a nice Smithwick's or Guinness.
- Tammy H.June 9, 2014Careful of the Scotch Egg dish. The sausage was still raw when the server brought it out.
- One of my favorite places in Houston for fish and chips. It comes with two pieces of perfectly battered and deep fried cod and good fries.
- Henry's Hungry HoustonJune 15, 2012Who says British food sucks? Try the Beef Wellington and have the Spotted Dick for dessert. Yes, that's what is called.
- Jen LMarch 9, 2014Nice atmosphere but OMG! the service leaves something to be desired. Slow is one thing. Pouring a drink then getting distracted and leaving it sit... in sight but out of reach of customer... torture!
- Plaza Museum District ApartmentsSeptember 18, 2012Wish you could eat here everyday? Now you can when you live just around the corner at The Plaza Museum District apartments!
- S GrayDecember 3, 2017Creppe looked good. I had Fish n Chips, nothing special, chips where fries, fish two small pieces not a fish.
- Nothing. Not a English pub at all. My husband said it was the rudest service he had ever encountered. Food is bad and they never clean their beer lines ever!
- Vania F.May 27, 2013Worst food I've had in months! The service was rude and had a lot of attitude. I had high hopes for this restaurant because the decoration is beautiful but I ended up very disappointed and angry.
- The shepard pie is always a good pick. I am not a coffee drinker but the MontyPython was really good
- Eva K.March 14, 2011sit outside for a romantic/intimate evening and challenge your date with a game of chess!
- Jennifer BattJanuary 30, 2013STAY AWAY!! Horrible service. 2 roaches on the floor Running around!!!! Cold food and a waitress with an attitude! This place used to be good years ago. STAY AWAY!
- Glenn BarnettJune 6, 2010Lots of their chips with a pint for you and your mates. Great spot. Read more
- Jeff ChalkleyMay 21, 2013The worst "Prime Rib" ever. My wife's beef Wellington was more tender than the supposed "Prime Rib".
- Julia McGowenSeptember 23, 2013Sweet little cozy spot tucked away on Montrose with some good old fashioned English dishes.
