- Great place to hang out for pretty much any time of day and fit for any foodie. Their food is California fresh and vibe is always chill! One of the best al fresco spots along Fillmore.
- Milena Faé VelhoApril 20, 2015One of the best meals I had in SF. We ordered french toasts and the toast with avocado and two pouchet. Both comes with two portions, perfect for sharing. Best idea ever.
- Drew SeymourMay 26, 2015A cozy, neighborhood cafe atmosphere that is reminiscent of the shuttered Chestnut St. location. Uniquely different from her sister cafes in SoMa & Hayes Valley.
- I go here on my work from home days for coffee avocado toast and a little work on paper, so my tip is: get there before 11:30am if you want to get a seat through lunch time!
- Jessica LlanesNovember 16, 2013Stopped by after dinner for some chamomile tea. Cozy spot, several tea, coffee and dessert options. Would be a great place to relax with a book. Love the decor.
- Katherin SonApril 21, 2012I have dreams about the lavender and watermelon lemonades here. The watermelon is only available during the summer months. Get it with the breakfast burrito. Everything else on the menu is subpar.
- Molly AdlerSeptember 18, 2013One of my favorite lunch spots. Brunch served all day every day. Enough Said! But my menu favorites are actually the Berkeley bowl and turkey BLT with the spicy harissa mayo on the side! YUM.
- Erik KriessmannMarch 13, 2016Grilled cheese and tomato soup is exactly what you would hope from that combo. Apple chicken salad is great too. All the staff are nice and helpful - very attentive.
- Closest thing I've found to a real pub atmosphere in SF. That is, you can go there and get a beer and take your time about it. With friends or on your own reading. Food is good but a touch pricey?
- Tyler BrockFebruary 9, 2015Huge glasses of fresh squeezed OJ from the zumex machine are a solid hangover cure. Makes a great combo with the Avocado and poached egg toast.
- Take some time to sit and go through the menu. They have a great selection which you often skip over because of the order first system.

- This and La Boulange (across the street) are the only spots along this stretch of Fillmore where you can get a weekday cafe lunch sans the Ladies Who Lunch crowd.
- 黄金 马September 19, 2013Great food and excellent oversight. Two managers checked on us during our meal. Friendly busboy gave us a menu upon entering the restaurant.

- Blackfeather TanfurAugust 4, 2013In reply to the wifi comment, no more wifi (they have a sign up). Also, incredible hash browns. Best I've had the city.
- Showtime NetworkJune 18, 2010A cozy little spot to bring your book or laptop & snuggle up with some coffee & a sandwich. Rustic in feel, the fireplace & pillows make this a very easy place to get lost for an afternoon. - Jill

- Amy MatsunoAugust 16, 2012Cozy ambiance and yummy milky warm hot chocolate for those chilly SF nights! Also, tomato soup with grilled cheese = jackpot.
- Breakfast burrito is still amazing but they don't have wifi anymore. Apparently they want people to talk to each other more. To avoid that, just tether!
- Super chill spot to grab a beer or glass of wine and relax.
- Lesley KAugust 6, 2013My fave meet up spot for a cozy bite & beverage with a friend. Especially if you bring a deck of Uno cards.
- Daniel L.June 8, 2013Damn that breakfast burrito is good! You can live without one of the tempting (and expensive) lavender mimosas. Mehh.
- JP SeralOctober 21, 2014Might be one of the coziest restaurants/cafes I have ever been to. Could spend all evening here. Great food too!
- Crystal ColemanFebruary 12, 2013As of early 2013, the owners have opted to remove the wifi to keep the ambiance of "San Francisco's living room."
- Try the Eggs - Custom Scramble with feta, mushrooms, pepper, onions and chicken apple sausage
- Andrew SpoethAugust 17, 2013Miss The Grove on Chestnut St. This one's just as good and also is an excuse to get some exercise walking up Fillmore St.
- Eden BrownMarch 28, 2012Try the Made to order crock of French Onion Soup - Who knew u would need a fork to eat your soup!!!
- Thijs NiksApril 27, 2019It’s a great option around here, just not as good as their Yerba Buena location where the music is less loud and the dishes better prepared
- antuan goodwinSeptember 2, 2014My Cubano was more dry than I'd like, but my g/f's cheesesteak was good (and spicy).
