- Food is mediocre and a bit overpriced on some items. But margaritas are damn good like the mango with spicy rim. Apparently it's Dolly Parton's favorite Mexican shot. She must not get out much.
JenniferSeptember 11, 2014I want to like El Chavo, but the loud dining room and the somewhat boring Mexican food keeps disappointing me. The margaritas, however, are good.
Great place to grab a drink. Try the outdoor area at night.

Went out of business in December 2015 after having been open for 49 years, since 1966.
