I always wanted to stay in this hotel and I don't regret spending the money. If you want the best price, book the room online few hours before your arrival as I did.
Everything in here is screaming fancy and grand! Glad i didn't miss to visit the female's restroom in the lobby. Ghaaad! I could spend hours in there. Got more curious how their rooms can be more fab

If you want to step back in time and experience faded glory, it's a great hotel. The lobby is amazing, all staff is still handling the old manners of hospitality, but the rooms are definitely outdated

Designed by Lloyd Morgan, the Art Deco building was completed in 1931 as a reincarnation of the original hotel erected by the Astor family in the 1890’s. It was designated a City landmark in 1993.
You have to love The Waldorf=Astoria for its style. Not that it is so fancy or so expensive (which it is), but it is relaxed, comfortable, charming and with all its facilities a home away from home.

The ladies's room the lobby is the best public restroom I've seen in years. Suites and meeting rooms are amazing. You feel the early 20th Century glamour. Beware connectivity sucks.
Amazing hotel. Staff is friendly and so helpful. You can spend hours walking around getting lost :) oh and the cosmo's and bull and bear are really strong, but I recommend it!
Took several hours to get crib to room and when it arrived, it had no bumpers. Aside from that huge mishap, great staff, historic building. Stayed in towers- doorman was nicest person I've ever met.
If you ask nicely, you can order a delicious French onion soup while in the peacock lounge from the bull & bear restaurant and continue enjoying the lobby people watching.

The structure is beautiful but service is slow and full of rules. If you're only sleeping at the hotel, it is ok but if you need more of their service you may be disappointed.
The lobby clock is from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Intricate and beautiful. If you can, also make your way to the Grand Ballroom and admire the view from the top balcony.
