Good spot to hang out and walk around. The view of the harbor is breathtaking! This is where you will want to go to catch the various ferries to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
I honestly believe that Battery Park is the best park of New York besides Central Park. It's super fun, spacious, calming, and holds many exciting shows and museums! Go visit in spring/summer!

Whether you're about to hop on a ferry, or you're just enjoying a downtown lunch break, Battery Park is a perfect place to enjoy a delicious Snap Dog from the cart on State St & Pearl St.
I went there to get to Statue of Liberty. The park itself is nice though. You can see One World Trade Center from the park. The walk to 1WTC also feels nice~
