- KC StarDecember 20, 2014It is on the Michelin Guide! Can't go wrong. They have Japanese Homemade Curry!
- Lucille FisherDecember 6, 2015Reliable Japanese restaurant with extensive menu from sashimi to ramen. Reasonably priced standard satisfying fare.
- EpicuriousAugust 25, 2010Mifune is the epitome of noodle houses in the Bay Area. It's nearly impossible to go wrong with the huge selection of perfectly crafted bowls and flavorful dashi-based dipping sauces.
- Jim BiancoDecember 7, 2012Amazing restaurant. The noodles are the best. The sushi isn't bad either. This place has a line but it moves fast.
- Donburi's are excellent! Get yourself some tempura on the side for a nice lunch set.
- Roy ScopazziNovember 9, 2015Super affordable Soba noodles, and they taste great as well. You def get your moneys worth.
- Thê-Minh TrinhSeptember 7, 2014Good, cheap and welcoming place. All the dishes come super hot! They serve tea for free
- Andrew NormanAugust 11, 2014The confusion here is that there are two mifune restaurants one on each floor with different menus
- AkitJanuary 2, 2012Cold noodles are the best. Get the Mifune Special to experience two kinds of noodles and get tempura too.
- Michael YAugust 13, 2012Lunch specials are definitely the way to go. Very filling and very reasonable
- Marsh GardinerOctober 1, 2011They make their own ramen, soba, and udon. The cold soba, like the Tenzaru, is delicious.
- Paula Wirth / Eat Drink OaklandAugust 17, 2011Try the chirashi soba, udon in a hot pot, or the other affordable dinner combos...
- Dan PhamJune 17, 20166/17/16: shrimp tempura was not fresh (soft inside like I was in the fridge too long) bamboo in ramen was rubbery instead of crunchy or tender (old, not high quality). Very disappointing
- Eat before 5pm to get the lunch special. You get noodles and sushi or curry for just $11.
- Best okonimiyaki in town handsdown!! Served on siZZLIng hot plate!
- Kevin RipperApril 8, 2015One of the most disappointing places I've been in San Francisco. Ramen was too oily and no deep umami broth.
- Lena TranApril 22, 2012The service is horrible. We waited for 20 minutes to be greeted. Plus the food is bland, I ordered the niku udon and didn't like it. I would suggest another restaurant, dining experience awful.
- Kul WadhwaMay 19, 2012This place was ok at best and some of the dishes aren't very good. There are much better alternatives in the Japantown Mall.
- Lillian RongOctober 22, 2012Order shabu, the beef was already in the soup... I hate it when the beef is over cooked.... not coming here again
- Ami BatmanJanuary 6, 2012They only have beef or fish broth so, if you're a vegetarian, don't bother with the noodles. The vegetable tempura is ok.
