- Protip: don't bother with the non-authentic ethnic food; go for sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and brunch and you won't be disappointed. Also, corn cakes. CORN CAKES!
- Markus AarstadOctober 18, 2014This mini-chain of vegan restaurants has two locations in San Francisco. An excellent option for fairly priced food in a friendly atmosphere.

- Ken McCorkellAugust 22, 2013This place is usually great, but we came on a busy night and it took 40 minutes to get a bottle of beer and a glass of wine! asked for no onion(allergies)and the dish had onions. No manager on duty
- Josh EstelleAugust 8, 2014Herbivore offers a wide range of mediocre food. It's nice to have vegetarian / vegan restaurants, but you can get better vegetarian food at non-veg places in sf.

- Julian Gill-PetersonJuly 1, 2013After several days of in n out this place is like a digestive spa. Grilled 'chicken' sandwich is amazing.

- Asha JMay 20, 2016Delicious food but really poor service. It wasn't busy but the waiting staff seemed to leave us waiting for a while. Disappointed after reading all the good reviews.
- My lentil loaf hack - instead of menu options go marinara and spinach
- My modified lentil loaf. Go off menu for marinara sauce. And swap brochili for greens.
- Veggie burger is tasty, but on the small side. Get fries on the side to make up for it :)
- Pavan KulkarniAugust 21, 2016Ambience and service is mehh. Chilli cheese potato fries was horrible and ginger noodle soup and shawarma wrap was ok. Wouldn't visit again
