Voted as one of the best Thai restaurant in downtown, It's definitely worth a try if you're looking for fine food at an affordable price. Good service as well. It's very spicy though.

The Thai food here is excellent. We have enjoyed every meal we have had. All cooks and staff are Thai and use only real ingredients, no substitutes. Aroi maak krub :-)

Very very fast service! We ordered our food (fried rice and curry) and it showed up less than three minutes later. Wasn't the best Thai I've had, but great for a quick bite.

Excellent Thai food! Loved the Tom Yum and the Papaya Salad! We even had to come back the next day to have some more of it! Perfect way to warm yourself from the inside on a chilly San Fran day!

The broth tasted like pepper, spicy, salted caramel.... And the morning glory is also called swamp weed... Tastes like it too. But the soup was otherwise fantastic!

BBQ and chorizo fried rice and fried bean curds are my favorites. The best Thai food in San Francisco.

Busy place, but serving some very good food. Service is quick, and to the point. Have the nice girls find you a spot, and sit down.

I ordered their Pineapple fried rice, Papaya Salad and Yellow curry. Nom nom. Don't forget to spread their peanut granule (on the table) to your food.

Roast pork egg noodle is legit. You can ask for it "dry" (without soup). This is how it is served on the street carts in Bangkok sometimes.

Menu is convoluted to navigate menu for vegans. None of the curries can be done w/o fish sauce despite being listed under veg heading. Stick with the noodle soup and noodle dishes.

Definately get the duck fried rice. If it's during winter season, try not to sit by the door, the draft gets a little cold as people are coming and going.

Considered one of the city’s best Thai restaurants, the King quickly serves up more-than-generous portions of authentic noodle dishes, soups, and curries for next to nothing. Read more

The chicken satay is good. Sadly, the green papaya salad was very not good -- soggy. The duck in red curry was adequate -- the duck was nice, but mostly fat and bone.

Egg noodles are amazing. The size of the soup bowls are more than generous, so come hungry!

Great duck stew noodle soup. The broth is incredible and the prices can't beat. Try to avoid the lunch rush.

The food are good except that the servers are constantly taking your plates the moment you finish you last spoon of food...we are not in a hurry... And my friends are still eating.

Don't get the BBQ pork & Chinese sausage chef special. The meat slices are cut very thin and in small amount. 😤
