A tiny little park that once was the on ramp to the highway until it fell in the '89 earth quake. Now it's the cutest, quaintest village green surrounded by shops and cafes of all varieties.
Grab an ice cream, coffee, or pastry and enjoy the public art sculptures and laid back neighborhood vibes.

This park is pleasant and a great place to just sit and do nothing. It can be very busy on a sunny weekend. Lots of dogs and kids on weekday afternoons. Watch out... you may find a Tecate and a mini-bottle of Jägermeister in the bush. *Ahem-ahem*
Enjoy. Just be quite after 10pm. Some people actually live on the park.
Janel DryanSeptember 11, 2011Sadly, this park is one of the dirtiest and most unpleasant in SF. Poo in the grass, bird poo on all the tables and benches, and lots of vagrants and homeless... Sad for Hayes Valley...
