- Vic ZaudNovember 13, 2014Pretty much every dish here is amazing. Standouts were the seared Spanish mackerel, chicken karaage, and rice dishes and fresh tofu.
- Yuna 🇰🇷 ParkFebruary 10, 2014A great spot to go with out-of-towners as they're sure to be impressed. The intimate setting makes for lots of couples in love. Go beyond your safe zone here.
- Amy LamJune 4, 2013Get the Aburi Saba - mackerel that is torched at your table! Seen it sell out more than once. Also recommend the Butakim, Spicy Tuna Dip, and Tofu French Fries. Skip the grillers.
- Michael QuocSeptember 6, 2012Very impressed with this restaurant. We ordered the spicy tuna served on rice cakes which sounds tired but it was the best I've tried. The fried chicken is also great, as is the pork stew.
- Caro SchieferApril 17, 2017Great place for fresh sashimi and poke. Portions are relatively small but delicious. Garlic noodles and all starters we had also tasted great.
- David SolomonMarch 20, 2013All the food is really good and they are open later than almost any restaurant in Santa Monica every night of the week. My go to spot in SM.

- Annette O DJanuary 13, 2012Get the Tanshio, pork belly and Tofu Fries. To be on the safe side, make a ressie.
- Aaron TellMay 15, 2010Musha fried chicken is an essential dish. The spicy tuna is also very good. Japanese beer on tap - not something you see elsewhere on the westside.
- Andrew KinDecember 11, 2009The wait's never as long as they tell you. Don't miss the charcoal grill steak or the special risotto (which they serve up in a huge wheel of cheese)
- Buttercup DApril 4, 2010Izakaya-style is basically small plates--Japanese "tapas". For vegetarians, try the tofu fries and the "pure tofu".
- The Spicy Tuna Dip is delicious! Do not miss it.
- Try the mackerel, they cook it at your table with a blow torch.
- CherylJune 16, 2013Nothing here is impressive or memorable - even the spicy tuna dip and mackerel are mediocre at best. This is by far the worst izakaya I've ever visited.
