They accept credit card. One of my favorite places in LA. The lamb sandwich double dipped is great especially with the mustard. Don't forget to get a slice of pie.
The original creator of the French dip holds a special place in most angelinos hearts. A must for anyone looking for authentic Los Angeles cuisine. Situated near Alvera st. and china town.

They claim to have invented the French dip. Get the beef with blue cheese, double dipped. The salads; coleslaw, macaroni, potato are all delicious as well.

I love Philippes and have been going there for 50+ years but I've came to the point where I think they've out priced me. 2 Sandwichs was $16.00 plus. Out of my price range living on a budget
