- DannSeptember 17, 2016I did not expect this high quality of authentic dimsum in SF. I was very satisfied with their Shanghai dumpling and Pork Xiu Mye, and Shrimp dumpling! A little pricey though.
- Noah WeissSeptember 21, 2019Fantastic dim sum, albeit a bit pricier. Top dishes: shrimp rice noodles, pork soup dumplings, baked BBQ pork buns, and pork and shrimp shui mai.
- Brittany BeisnerJanuary 9, 2020You can’t miss Yank Sing if you’re in San Fran. Each dish was delicious, easily top 3 dim sum I’ve ever had in the states! They also have Orange jello for desert in the original orange rind 😅
- Paul CunninghamJuly 18, 2015Ask for what you want, don't just take what comes by. Try the house special dumplings with soup in them. The BBQ pork is excellent in buns or rice wraps. Have fun, try stuff, it's all good
- MarcJanuary 21, 2021Esquire: Classics are next level: Siu mai plump w/shrimp &pork, paper-thin wrapping of har gau, &xiao long bao filled w/beautifully fragrant broth. Don't forget to pick up jar of house-made chili oil
- An ShengJuly 9, 2018Best dim sum in the city! The other location’s usually less crowded but equally good (don’t get the to-go, it’s not nearly the same quality)
- High quality, expensive, and very approachable dim sum. Nothing on the carts will freak you out. Be sure to get the soup dumplings and the Peking duck. The Stevenson location is the locals' spot.
- Katie YamadaApril 27, 2016It's expensive, but it's the cleanest dim sum venue I've ever been to. Get the Shanghai dumplings and the Chong fun, they've got lots of special dishes you won't find at most other dim sum placed
- YukoMay 14, 2013Best dim sum restaurant in SF. I like Shanghai Dumpling, Shrimp Dumpling, Pork Sui Mye, Peking Duck, Lettuce Cup, and Coconut Cream Roll. Tsingtao Beer or chinese tea are good match for dim sum.
- CITY GRITAugust 1, 2014Don’t feel like sitting inside or want to dine alone? Grab the Dim Sum Platter at the to-go shop next door (it’s less than $10) and walk down to the Water for the perfect picnic.
- Bob OlsenMarch 5, 2018They bring around a lot of serving carts with delicious food. If you want something different you can ask them for it.
- Pacific UnionOctober 4, 2013One of the best spots for Dim Sum in San Francisco. The stuffed mushrooms and the mango pudding for dessert are not to be missed.
- Tom CoatesJuly 28, 2018It’s good and efficient and tasty. Best in Downtown. If you want best in San Francisco though, I recommend the Hong Kong Lounge 2
- AptravelerJune 9, 2013Come early, come hungry and ask Janny one of the attentive and friendly hostess, to get you a 'good' table. one of those where the freshly created Dim Sum starts its journey!
- Bryant LukJune 18, 2016The Xiao Long Bao / Shanghai dumplings are where it's at. Expensive and there may be a wait if you don't go early. The service can be great if you order yourself. Cart service comes in waves.
- Gemma mmmMarch 31, 2013Up-scale dim sum ! good quality food, good presentation, friendly and comfortable, great location- SF, in restaurant, in courtyard (ceiling rain falls to pool), takeout shop. expensive $$
- High quality ingredients and tasted fresh. Smaller portions. Each dim sum dish was at least 20% more expensive than those sold in restaurants in the South Bay.
- Maya ShanmugamMay 9, 2016If you're thinking of getting dessert, the coconut cream roll is a must! Also, ask staff if certain items are available, not everything is on the carts.
- Jake LevineFebruary 10, 2017Great quick bite for a weekday lunch. Pricey, so check the menu before you order. Shanghai soup dumplings and BBQ pork buns are great.

- Laura CNovember 17, 2011Authentic Dim Sum with every dumpling you can imagine. The restaurant's capacity doubles on the weekends, but weekdays are definitely the best time for a meal, for a full menu and half the crowd.
- Their XLB are nearly as good as Din Tai Fung's. All their dishes are a step above most tea houses, you can't go wrong here.
- Garann MeansNovember 16, 2014The soup dumplings are great. Being able to get dim sum for weekday lunch is magical if you're from most other places in the US.
- Their Shanghai soup dumplings are one of the best in town. Lots of vegetarian options. Service could be slow and more expensive than your regular dim sum spots.
- ISC ChicagoJuly 26, 2017Considering it's fairly close to Chinatown, it's a bit pricey in comparison, but it's definitely a very different atmosphere, appealing to the business lunch crowd
- Renee TeefiveSeptember 24, 2017The dim sum is delicious. There is a wide variety to choose from and servers are always offering new foods to try.
- deniz ozkanDecember 13, 2014Highly recommended. Perfect saturday/sunday brunch with awesome dumplings 👍
- AaronMay 6, 2014Their to go options are affordable but if you're siting down for dim sum, be prepared for one of the most expensive dim sum experiences you'll find. 2 hungry people for lunch = $60?!

- Beverly HoJune 24, 2014Xiao long bao(soup dumplings) was good but pricey @ $12. Shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns were yummy!
- Kait GaissMay 13, 2016So I've never done dim sum before so...that should probably change. One of the pricier spots, but you pay for what you get. The xiao long bao and custard tarts are supposedly A++.
- Eat here, get the validation for parking and enjoy enough time to go to the Ferry Building for an after meal walk.
- ISC ChicagoJuly 26, 2017Many traditional dim sum items, very fresh, and if they don't have it in the cart, they'll get it for you
