- Spicy crispy roll is melt in your mouth good. Picture is of swamp, lombata (may have misspelled this), & highway roll. The swamp roll's seaweed salad garnish is great. Highly rec.pepper fin tuna also!Upvoted Feb 22
- Victor BuybackoffJuly 27, 2014The best sushi I have had in any place across the world. You should try sushi deluxe set to understand what good sushi are. Worths going there if not from NYC or abroad, then from downtown for sure!
- KarenJanuary 15, 2023Delicious food and excellent service. Try the age tofu and spicy chicken karaage to start (and share). The regular rolls are excellent - the spicy salmon was particularly good.
- Thako HarrisOctober 17, 2014This place tho! Please do yourself a favor and come for the Happy Hour! 3 - 6! $1 Nigiri! That's right! One dollar #nigiri!
- Kaylen ParkerMay 18, 2022The sake bomb and floral roll were so good. Also the truffle edamame and sashimi were fantastic. Some of the best sushi I’ve had for sure.
- Soowan JangAugust 27, 2017Most of their rolls and Nigiri are awesome. Tempura Udon and Don Katsu, Chicken Karage.
- Afro lynneJune 21, 2019Korean-Japanese sushi joint. Service is on the slower side but overall friendly. One thing I was surprised to see was they allow animal in the restaurant.
- Danielle EbsteinNovember 11, 2016Good deal for decent Sushi in SF. Very casual atmosphere -- better for lunch.
- NanaMay 5, 2016Much better than wayo sushi however this place has lower ratings. Flavors were good and the portions were filling unlike wayo 🙊
- Wow very unfortunate they have lost the mark. $15 for burned unagi udon! And micro-waived mountain roll. I will give them another chance but chief team has changed.
- Merri AAugust 10, 2012lunch special sashimi/inari and oshinko roll for $12.oshinko roll is decent but sake sashimi is not too fresh.rice is cheap quality and inari is a bit salty. overall is ok for $12 lunch
- Combo Snomono was full of Fresh Seafood. I liked the Octopus.
- Jonathan FlookesApril 20, 2013Great Nigiri and Rolls on Polk st. The wife and I love this place and would recommend it to anyone passing by!
- Open very late (midnight most nights, 2am on weekends). Great place to get good sushi at a reasonable price.
- JaredOctober 27, 2014Place was fantastic. Quick friendly service and the cuts of sushi were fantastic.
- Jason CalacanisMay 22, 2016Surprisingly high quality sushi at this dumpy looking joint -- give it a shot
- The sashimi here can be amazing. Sit at the sushi bar to witness and order!
- Love the vegetarian roll, the green salad, the plum wine, the fried green tea ice cream. It's all so good!
- Highway roll was delicious. Also try the Ikra with quail egg!
- It's not only delicious but super cheap. I just paid 15,17$ for all that food.
- If you are sick or just want to have amazing soup, try their Chicken Noodle Soup!!
- Stick to the salmon and you won't go wrong! Tiger roll is my favorite.
- They seem to be carrying gluten free soy sauce but they were out of it this time. Great sushi still had to bring my own sauce.
- Good Sushi! A great alternative to Sushi Rock if you seek a more relaxed vibe, but good fish...
- MJ De La CruzJune 2, 2012They're not really sushi artists, but the are a flavor sensation! !! Love it here.
- Roll Combination 1: Cali Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, & Salmon Roll for $11.95!
- If you're a true sushi lover, you must try the uni nigiri here. If you are a roll fanatic, the mountain roll is a staple.
- Angie MaMarch 28, 2011Longest meal of my life for all you can eat. Another customer went out complaining about the slowww service.40 min for each round of food. If you don't have 3 hours to spend eating, don't come.
- Go between 3-4pm for the lunch menu with 1$ Sashimi/sake overlap!
- Nara is my fave sushi in pac heights! 3-6pm happy hour sushi for $1/piece. So yum!
- Tina Hui Tina HuiJuly 11, 2010The best happy hour fun! $1 a piece for sushi and $2 for a bottle of sake to go with it.
