Sit at the diner-style counter and watch the chef churn out decidedly un-diner-style food - French-inspired California cooking is his area of expertise. Try the grilled salmon with stewed leeks.

Saturday & Sunday Brunch shorter wait than Dottie's True Blue (Diner) Cafe and same or better quality & value ++ there's mimosas bellinis & beer-espresso combo!

Worth dodging corkage by ordering a reasonably priced bottle off their wine list. For brunch, the pancake--no matter what fruit's in it--cannot be passed up.

Alwys go for the soup to start, every one I have had has been amazing. I'm particulary fond of the cold pea soup with dungeness crab. It doesn't really matter what you get tho, it will be great.

This is the tiniest restaurant ever!  Only 20 seats and a couple of guys cooking in an open kitchen. DEFINITELY make reservations. -Monica Pope, Top Chef

Not toddler-friendly (no high chairs available). In fact, service was pretty unfriendly overall. Great food, though
