Architecturally inspiring -amazing views to the Golden Gate Bridge. Rodin's The Thinker frames the entrance, setting the tone for a unique collection. From medieval to modern art, Rodin to porcelain.

A tiny gem of a museum with a fantastic selection of furniture, medieval & romantic paintings. Bike out on a Saturday morning, and walk around the coast trail afterwards. Good temporary exhibits, too.

My favorite chilling place in SF. There may have concert(chamber music, organ) sometimes. After having enough fun in the museum, you can simply go down to lends end to enjoy a sunset view.

Much better art-museum than expected. Not sure why I assumed it would not be impressive, as I was surely proved wrong. A great collection and great featured exhibits! A must-see for art-lovers.

The organ recitals on Sat/Sun 4pm are great. Organists play everything from classical, My Fair Lady tunes to the soundtrack from Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times.

On Saturday & Sunday, admission is free at 4:30pm - 5:00pm. Come listen to the pipe organ played by a master. The sweet spot is inside in the middle of the rotunda between the entry & the keyboard.
