- Stavria K.June 7, 2018The best view of the town! Helpful, cleanBUT listen very carefully to what the receptionists are saying & charging, because according to them San Fran is not like anywhere else in the States. So..LISTEN
- The bar and restaurant get suffer and noisy with the after-work crowd but if you're still working, or just want quiet, they'll deliver yummies to your room. The roasted Brussels sprouts are ace!
- John PullenJune 23, 2013Definitely NOT overpriced contrary to other tips (those people must not be familiar with San Francisco hotel rates). Best location, great rooms, very relaxing environment in a perfect location.
- Fred WilsonNovember 14, 2012Complimentary morning yoga, often but not always with a spectacular view of the bay bridge, is awesome here
- Beg for a room with a deck... It's super cool view our just go to the public deck. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is decent but with so many options around I say explore a bit.
- Tom EvansApril 7, 2013Amazing rooms and service. Rooms with the tub in the bedroom area are outstanding and very romantic. Only draw back was concierge services. Don't bother with them. They are not helpful.
- Fodor's TravelAugust 21, 2015Hotel Vitale offers a 180-degree panorama of the Ferry Building's distinctive 245-foot clock tower (modeled after the one in Seville, Spain) and sweeping suspension cables of the Bay Bridge.
- Go-to hotel in San Francisco; expensive, but worth the price. Access to the endless roofdecks can be had from the corridors on 7th or 8th floors.
- The bar is sort of a nightmare but the rooms are quiet and large with awesome views.
- Elis Lids LawsonJune 19, 2011The room snacks are BEYOND pricey!! If you had everything on the small tray it adds up to over $300! Rooftops patios are beautiful for a relaxing drink & view of the water.
- Hotel TonightApril 5, 2011Super-clean modern style, with loads of spa services and slick boho design touches that make going home seem like such a bummer. Check out the views from the roof deck.
- Andru EdwardsMay 1, 2013Amazing boutique hotel with stunning views. Rooftop lounges are a great way to take in the city.
- Order the Warm ACME Sourdough Bread with Avocado and Sunny Side Up Eggs for breakfast from Room Service it's incredible.
- Stacey HarmonAugust 26, 2012Any room on the 5th floor and above will give you same level access to the AMAZING rooftop decks.
- Probably the highlight of my stay in this 5* boutique hotel was the large vomit stain on the carpet of Room 345. Really tied the room together.
- Dominic PoynterMarch 17, 2013Love the decor, especially the tables in the bar. Would take one with me if I could!
- Phenomenal boutique hotel. Bonus: the restaurant Americano is fantastic.
- Mark BusseMay 13, 2011Salt House a few blocks down Mission has excellent poutine and foie gras on the menu. Delish!
- lululemonApril 29, 2014Complimentary morning yoga classes and a penthouse-level spa overlooking the Bay - we call this #thesweatlife.
- Their free coffee in the lobby is honestly some of the best drip coffee I've had
- Blake_MonsterAugust 2, 2010Rooftop soaking tubs are great. But bring a bikini if you're worried about being spotted those in buildings across the street...
- Laura CNovember 17, 2011On the Embarcadero, right across the street from the Ferry Building, this super-holistic hotel has a full menu of spa treatments for both vacationing and business travelers.
- Quinn ROctober 10, 2010Nice place with a peaceful, spa-like setting everywhere you turn. It felt like a hotel though--not worth $400 a night! They need double sinks, better body products + hair dryer. Food was average.
- Highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location across from piers/ farmers market
- Panorama Suite is amazing. Rooftop soaking tubs are the bomb. But avoid douchebags @ happy hour downstairs
- HenrymartinezllcFebruary 21, 2011book a massage with shauna, add the bathing ritual = the good life. (take the love of your life and wish the infinity tub was built for two)
- m rOctober 10, 2010the roof top decks are great -- unless your room happens to be under one of them ... fail.
- Aydin SenkutAugust 11, 2009Go to Cafe Americano and have a large Americano (one of the best hotel coffees around)
- Staying the night? Join the Joy of Life Club online. Upgrades and other perks too. Let the front desk know when you join.
- Maximilian MadileSeptember 9, 2011They do decent Negronis in the bar. Ask to have it served in a whiskey glass though.
