- LeonJuly 28, 2012Don't wait for a table. Sit at the bar an order off the menu there. The catfish po-boys are insane - the pulled pork sandwich is even better! Get yourself a free show watching the mad cocktail crew!
- Jessica WickhamFebruary 26, 2017Recommend scrambled eggs with sweet peppers, the winter veggies and incredible breakfast biscuits! The buffet looks amazing, but the meals are a great smaller plate choice for normal appetites !
- Kendal CockrelAugust 12, 2018French toast was amazing and very sweet. No syrup needed. Get a pitcher of mimosa and make it a boozy brunch.
- Curtis MaconMay 25, 2014Make sure you make a reservation. It was a 1.5 hr. wait without one. The buffet is a great bargain at $22. Boots less mimosas are another great deal. You get your table for 90 min.
- Don NorbeckAugust 30, 2015Chicken and waffles biscuits and gravy and more on the brunch buffet. Add bottomless mimosas or iced tea and now it's a party
- Justin ClarkSeptember 19, 2014Pints served in Mason jars, Southern Fried Chicken which makes you re-evaluate everything you've eaten before, and Baby Back Ribs which are smokey taste-tastic amazing.
- Roxanne ParetsSeptember 5, 2016Vegetarian scramble is incredible. Service was good. Bloody Marys are yummy. Grey choice with good atmosphere.
- Jeremy HoganSeptember 26, 2016The jambalaya was incredible. And, if you like spice, they have a honey jalapeño sauce that you should dump all over it.
- Charlie PenaflorDecember 19, 2011There's parking steps away from Farmer Brown right b/t Eddy and Turk for $20 flat. We opted to park at a nearby parking structure that set us back more than $20. BTW, fried chicken plate...amazing!
- TristanSeptember 4, 2011Very cool ambiance for a date. The Shrimp and grits are amazing. Definitely try it. Fried chicken here is a favorite and you CAN ask for white meat only but shrimp + grits = best I've had
- Philip SaulFebruary 7, 2017Went for lunch and tried the pulled pork sandwich. It was awesome and the buns were really good. Also some cool cocktails
- Jordan HollidayApril 3, 2018Would love to try this place for brunch but dang this place is expensive. I wish I could say that I loved everything I ate but I did not enjoy the ribs sauce nor the potato salad.

- Katarina TDecember 3, 2012Live music to go with brunch! Get the buffet - chicken and waffles, fried catfish, grits and more. And don't forget to try one of their cocktails!
- Tone MosleySeptember 5, 2017As a person from The Deep South - MS this is the most bland food I can't say anything positive about this place. Service was slow and food just BLAH. Hard Knox in Dogpatch was better in comparison
- Craig ShahanJune 25, 2012Great food the bus boy was attentive and on the money! The hostess was bubbly and enjoyable! However, if Joy is your server, demand another section! Worse service in the city!
- goldstein jodiAugust 26, 2010Annie was our server and she was great. Love the service - weird to say but the bus boy rocked! We both had fried chicken and will share it next time so we have room for an app and red velvet! Omg! Yu
- Bikash MishraFebruary 19, 2016Fried chicken brunch buffet, enough said. How do they keep the chicken tasting so fresh in a buffet setup? This place hits the spot.
- AnyaAugust 27, 2017The location of this place is in the area with a lot of homeless people. The food was good, but the choices were limited and we couldn't fail to notice all the dirt on walls and ceilings.
- Amy BJuly 5, 2016Service, atmosphere, food. Can't ask for more. Prob the best wedge salad ever. Big chunks of blue cheese!
- Total surprise for this part of the city. Good cocktails and great chicken. If you are seeing a show at the Warfield, perfect pregame spot
- Tim MacalinoApril 18, 2017Try the Angel biscuit with gravy. Have your eggs over easy so u can break dem yolks!! 😉😉😁😁
- MikaApril 1, 2016Skip the southern fried chicken and go for the jambalaya, it's a lot better and big enough to share. Waffle and shells n' cheese for sides.
- Laurie VSeptember 1, 2013Service is consistently slow and half-assed, chicken is consistently delicious. On balance worth it, but only just. Get reservations or prepare for a long wait.
- D LinAugust 1, 2015Love chicken walffles. Non greasy crunchy fried chicken with chewy waffles. Drool peoplet
- good soul food place to take your out-of-town southern friends to. Sunday brunch is great but make sure you get reservations
- QuinteinFebruary 21, 2017Reasonably priced food in a very nice setting. You probably will think you're in the wrong place until you walk inside.
- carlaNovember 6, 2010Red velvet is the BEST I've ever had on both west&east coasts. Vibe is a hybrid of Jersey City's Marco&Pepe and Warehouse &Philly's Illvibe Prod's Body Rock and The Difference. MUST eat&scene in SF

- Kanyi MaqubelaSeptember 23, 2011Come on Sunday mornings and hear the really tight live band. Also bottomless Mimosas and buffet with mean grits. Win.
- 7x7 MagazineOctober 29, 2012Farmer Brown's mac 'n cheese is special because of simplicity - Tillamook cheddar, served baked golden brown in an individual cast iron skillet. Perfect. Read more
- Jason LeeFebruary 25, 2013Everyone raves about the food, but the drinks are equally as impressive. Try the Old-Souled Fashion for a twist on a bar classic
- Kat Stew---May 2, 2015Amused at all the brunch prices.... $15? $21? Today we went and it is $24.95 ... Good food though, but now I wish it was cheaper ha

- Gladys ResuelloSeptember 11, 2011I wasn't impress with the fried chicken, mac&cheese, and greens. But the shrimp & grits is a MUST! Love the Honey Jalapeno Hot Sauce too!

- Leslie HAugust 4, 2011$16 brunch buffet that includes grits and fried chicken, sweet tea and a live jazz band on Sundays? What's not to love!
