Guy enjoyed the "big flavor" and tenderness of the sauerbraten and the rindsrouladen, a beef roll. Loyal customers enjoy the liver dumpling soup and listening to the live polka band. Read more

Get the boot of beer and a pretzel to start. The schwein schnitzel is good. If the have the smoked pork and bacon sausage special, definitely go for it.

This is not like the hoity-toity piss elegant little cafés that people line up for hours like the one across the street. If you want unpretentious more Bavarian than in Germany meal, this is it!

If you order the pretzel, use the butter provided to lightly flavor it before consumption. It adds a whole level of deliciousness.

I don't care much for the food, but I haven't sampled much of it so take that with a grain of salt. I come for the beer, the music, and the atmosphere.
