- Village VoiceAugust 4, 2014The fish is as pristine and skillfully prepared as at any of the expense sushi places in Manhattan. Sit at the bar for omakase, a relative bargain, and munch your way through earthy monkfish liver. Read more
- The Corcoran GroupDecember 5, 2013Come with a date & get the Special Sushi for 2. It includes 16 pieces of sushi, a shrimp tempura roll & a mountain roll (spicy tuna, avocado & yellowtail) - all for $49. Everything is super fresh too!
- DailyCandyFebruary 14, 2014Bypass the lines at Geido and mosey down Flatbush Avenue for equally satisfying sushi at Taro. Dark, wood fixtures and minimal design provide a moody backdrop for indulgences like toro tartar.
- CarolMarch 4, 2020Delicious sushi place worth the wait! I joked with the chef about sampling the fish and he actually gave me a sample!
- Great fish at reasonable prices! The rolls are good and the fish/rice are well prepared. Try the scallop sushi for a treat.

- Such an awesome omakase here. Best sushi in all of Brooklyn!
- Taty SenaDecember 6, 2011Mediocre. The sushi was just fine. The avoc. tofu salad was not good. Spider roll just tasted like fried batter. Geido,1 block up, is authentic & better. Kiku on 5th ave has the best sushi around.
