The omakase is fresh, delicious and a bargain compared to what you pay for in Manhattan. Service is attentive and friendly. Try the green tea cheesecake for a light dessert.

This is the only real sushi joint in Forest Hills. Everything else is basically what you get at a catered event. Heck, even Bourdain's website is wrong, saying that Sushi Time is best. Pro tip: Not!

Omakase, of course, is the star here, but true star is chef Yasu, who makes everyone feel like old time buddies catching up over beer and sake

I have been here a bunch of times and their Omakase is excellent. They offer $60, $80, $100 options.

The sushi is so-so, but their service never disappoints. They're very attentive and kind here. I recommend the tempura green tea ice cream after some rolls and sake.

Best Bites: Yellowtail Jalapeño, Uni, and Lobster (with Garlic Butter). Opt for the omakase to get as many tastes as possible.

The seaweed salad is very good as an appetizer. We finished most of it before remembering to take a photo.

This is the new location. There is only one Yasu in Forest Hills and he is behind the sushi bar here. Be sure to take advantage and order the Omakase!

Had the $60 omakase, was pricy but the taste was very unique. Try it if you want something special.
