On the eastern corner of Whole Foods is a separate beer shop, with a large selection of import and craft beer. BYOgrowler to bring local draft beer back home, or just pick up a sixer of your choice.
The design of this WFM is bright, airy (especially for NYC), and fun. The 2nd-floor eatery & seating area is really nice. Like any WFM, the product offerings and service are great.

The Bowery burger is such a deal!! $5 for a veganveggie burger with ALL the fixings...the bun is reminiscent of BK or McDs but healthier. Carrnivores can get grassfed beef burgers for same price!
One of the best store beer selections you'll ever see! Huge selection of both domestic and international, cold and not cold, actually a whole beer ""wing"" on the left side of the store.
They have 2 whole rotisserie chickens for $14.99. Options include plain, BBQ, herb and tandoori. Can't not go wrong. Ever ! Great price and taste even better!

I just noticed that they got rid of the dedicated beer section (I think this happened a few months ago) to replace it with a coffee shop. They still have a big selection but no growlers anymore.
At it's most crowded, it's a nightmare. But love the upstairsfood court. Prepared foods always excellent. I'm hoping they no longer cheat on their scales.
The beer selection is OMG amazing! One of the only places in the city that has St Bernadus ChristmasAle. If you like dark Belgian style beer, you will love it!
This Whole Foods is the least exclusive place you can go to have a reliably awesome celebrity sighting. Tracy Morgan, Agyness Deyn, Mos Def, etc. (Plus, salad bar is great for hiding behind!)
A little pricier, but so worth it. Fresh organic produce. Yummy prepared foods, great for grabbing snacks before heading out to nearby Webster Hall or Le Poisson Rouge for a show!
The beer shop has a huge selection of craft beer and some home brewing supplies. Seriously, who buys PBR when some of the best beer in the world is right next to it?
If you like Kombucha this whole foods has kombuchaon tapupstairs. You can buy a re-useable growler and get it refilled here. Much cheaper than by the bottle.
