- Joshua PetersMarch 25, 2017The soya ramen is really good. They also serve the egg fully cooked which I prefer. The staff were friendly and there is underground parking right under the ramen shop. $10 for the day.
- Jessalynne PetersMarch 25, 2017Staff were friendly, ramen was delicious! I had the soy sauce ramen, not spicy as I was sharing it.
- JenniferOctober 27, 2014The shio ramen is excellent. Good mix of fat, salt, and thinner noodles (which fit the lighter broth well). Add an egg and you're in ramen heaven.
- James SonatgOctober 18, 2013Giant bowl of noodles delicious and well priced. Was featured on man v food, you can try their spicy challenge. I was quite happy with my #3 spicy miso. No atmosphere.
- @JaumePrimeroDecember 9, 2012So many choices you have to make at this Ramen shop! I opted for the Soy 6 (slightly spicy soy based broth), extra meat, and a soft-boiled egg. #nomnom
- Christopher P.September 29, 2011The noodles have the best texture. The Cha-Shu pork slice is amazing! The broth around the corner is better though I think...but that's probably because that what I am used to....
- Krit PuenpongMay 6, 2017Ramen here is not an original but fusion with Mexican ingredients. Don't forget to order chashu pork to eat with soup and ramen. It's makes the taste better.
- If you're vegetarian ask for the veggie broth instead of the usual pork broth. Best ramen hands down!
- Binny NguyenJune 30, 2012If you can handle Habanero (take a bite straight up) then their Extreme Orochon level will be fine for you. I had the Hyper Orochon, one level lower and didn't even feel the heat.
- Danie CastilloDecember 28, 2015The ramen and service were great. I got the number 1 with a miso base it was amazing and filling.
- LauraFebruary 12, 2013Miso ramen on #1 extreme spicy is good. I might go for the special 1 next time though. Bring cash!
- Albino From AboutJune 29, 2015Great autentica Japanese ramen. Be warned, these are large bowls so come hungry.
- Charles XavierJanuary 10, 2010The dumplings are good, the miso base is fairly heavy and has to many sprouts. Love the Soy base. The change between heat lvl 2 -> 1 -> special 1 is HUGE, be careful always add pork and egg!
- Fiona M.March 28, 2011vegetarian option available. always add butter and egg to make the ramen oh-so-yummy! :)
- Amy TurmanFebruary 11, 2012the food is slightly on the spicy side. a 4 is what I got and it was the perfect amount (and i like spicy).
- KayDecember 21, 2016Awesome vegetarian selection, and great service. They're fast, friendly, and happy.
- Wesley MakApril 15, 2013the spicy ramen challenge felt impossible to me, but my buddy and his friend were able to do it. i have to tackle it again.
- Chrissy EldredMay 7, 2013First ramen house since Daikakuya and I'm glad I branched out! I got the soy sauce #4 with jalapeños. #nomnomnom
- Travel ChannelDecember 6, 2010Get things heated up and try the Spicy Ramen. Orochon Ramen has the most authentic Japanese fare in LA. Read more
- Need something extra or a small snack? The fried rice is unbeatable!
- LA OtakuFebruary 2, 2012The best Ramen Noodles in town. Featured in Man vs. Food on Travel Channel, it's one of LA's hidden little gems.
- Matthew RamirezAugust 6, 2013Sevice is avarsge to poor however the Ramen is great anything above a 3
- Krit PuenpongJanuary 4, 2017Miso ramen is so so. Not to good as I expected. Always clouded at night.
- Allan de LeonOctober 2, 2011Not really the best, but up there in terms of novelty and experience. If you can eat their spiceiest ramen in a time limit they will take a photo of you. Read more
- Teenie LiMay 15, 2011Get the chasiu (sp?..the pork)..it's unlike any other I've tried. It melts in your mouth
- Love this place but beware if you are sitting near someone doing the challenge.
- my favorite ramen in LA so far--better than daikokuya in my opinion. workin my way up to the spicy challenges.
- Vin TangprichaApril 26, 2010I am Thai and eat the spiciest in my family. Number 2 (3 levels are higher) is pretty spicey. Could have done higher but I didn't want to sweat through my clothes.
- John GuintoFebruary 3, 2010#3 with chashu, side of egg and extra noodles if you're really hungry. If you're mighty bold try special #2.
- miar mangunsongSeptember 4, 2012The egg is just a regular boil egg not the proper egg for ramen. The meat taste weird and overcooked, the extra meat is just a regular small chopped meat not the chunkie meat. Just WORST ramen overall
