- Kayleigh HarringtonAugust 22, 2014Ordered the two margaritas on the menu and the bartender suggested that we get them with their house infused jalapeño tequila. Unreal. They were really wonderful. And so was the bartender!
- Chop Suey ClubJuly 27, 2016Kitchen opens till 12am and quality remains top notch. Gnocchi, polenta, squid ink pasta and tiramisu are among our favorites. Terrific spot for dates and private party.
- Meer MusaMay 21, 2014Very good ice-cream for dessert. We ordered the Tiramisu, & Panacota & Ice-cream: Hazelnut, Chocolate & Amaretto crunch. I am in love with the Hazelnut ice-cream. So good!
- Andrea TKMay 31, 2015Excellent food and service. Try the zucchini blossoms, garlic shrimp and panna cotta. Strangely they do not serve coffees that require hot milk at nights, only expressos so forget ordering a capuccino
- Wendy Benvenga, RealtorMay 25, 2012The most amazing service Regis Rocks, entrees are exquisite~prepared delicately w excellent combinations. The ambiance is Cozy and Romantic. A true hidden gem, we intend to return for years to come~
- One of the most romantic restaurants in the city. Sit downstairs and order the duck ragu or the radicchio lasagna. But I would feel confident that most of the menu is great.
- Fanny GMay 3, 2015Delicious Italian food, I had Spaghetti with duck, gnocchi with mushrooms and a bottle of Merlot. Everything was perfect. Nice atmosphere!
- Andres RipollApril 28, 2017The ambianceb is like something out of a movie, set in Italy. Incredible old fashioned with darker tone than usual. Everything is good
- David RosenbergMarch 14, 2015The gnochetti are delicate and delicious. Order them. Also, cheeseboard or GTFO.
- Helena WongJanuary 12, 2014Snails, Crab Cakes, Spaghetti Nero!!, obnoxiously big Pork Shank & fantastic $40 wine bottle. All dishes under $20. I want to go back!
- Tim JulienNovember 18, 2012An outpost on the border between chinatown and your memory. Sit downstairs and share a bowl of gnocchi.
- Marissa CFebruary 19, 2018Intimate cozy spot in Chinatown ... nice cocktail menu for after dinner drinks. Service was slow. Great for dates.
- Audrey Christensen-TsaiJuly 15, 2014Had a group of 13 for dinner here! Had a per head price and family style eating --- perfect for a special dinner!
- Steve AmaranteAugust 21, 2011This place is all ambiance. Little noisy on Sat night(s). The food is decent (some review are a little bloated). Had the stuffed Zucchini appetizer--good stuff. Must try-at least once!
- Will HarahanJune 22, 2019The bar in the basement is a hidden gem, and the drink portions are generous.
- BLOUIN ARTINFOJune 4, 2010A hearty day of LES gallery-going should be rewarded with a hearty Northern Italian meal. Downtown types swill wine (at every price point) late into the night. Get the polpette: experience heaven.
- Murphy DunnJanuary 28, 2011Oh Bacaro, how I miss you. This is by far one of the best hidden gems in New York. Although, I guess it's not so hidden any longer. Pop in after gallery hopping, and ask for an excellent wine recom
- EM H.August 29, 2016Great atmosphere and pasta. If you like really spicy jalapeño tequila they have that too!
- KEJuly 16, 2017Dining room is in basement with no windows, but the ambiance is still rustic/romantic. Portions are small, especially the meatballs and codfish.
- Brian MasefieldOctober 19, 2013A cool cavernous downstairs dining room that gets a bit loud/echoey. Epic wine list.
- SiovonneAugust 26, 2014If you're looking for great food at a great price, this is the hidden gem. The reviews will attest to this.
- LindsayOctober 29, 2010The gnocchi con funghi was superior, however the service was beyond rushed on a Friday night. I love this place and its set-up, but our waitress really couldn't seem to flip our table fast enough.
- Zachary Adam CohenSeptember 19, 2010The vongole will make ur eyes wet w joy. And pain that you'll never produce anything as delicious in your entire miserable and tiny little life. Eat it and weep motherfucker.
- Jordan PisarcikAugust 30, 2012The tiny spicy fried meatballs and the spaghetti with cuttlefish ink are amazing.
- Go to Bacaro. Order a Spritz. Ask for it with lemon, the way it's really done in Italy. It's a great summer drink and the bartender does it well. I was impressed!
- Soyun JeeFebruary 19, 2016Exposed brick everywhere. Beautiful place. Perfect for dinner with the girls.
- Shaw Yean LimMarch 7, 2012Really tasty Spaghetti Nero (it's salty if u like that) and fried frog legs
- Dohn SolisMay 24, 2013Menu leaves a bit to be desired and they're unwilling to make even the smallest of changes to accomodate anyone.
- Henrik EhrenbergNovember 9, 2017Nice atmosphere and beautiful environment. Food was ok but not excellent.
- Brian ClarkDecember 10, 2016Poor food, service, atmosphere. Sat us at a table too small for our party, spilled a glass of wine on us, no temperature control in the dining area. Too hot.
- Ken GuieSeptember 3, 2016The place provides a nice environment but the meals are SMALL and expensive, especially for a bowl of any pastas. And service is super slow!
- MariaFebruary 18, 2010Order the Gnocchi con funghi, tiramisu and a glass of wine. The candle lit basement is pretty cavelike and awesome.
