Moves indoors for Winter to 1 Hanson Place, to a disused HSBC Bank. Find clothes, Vinyl to kitchen homewares. Great to visit but overpriced. Mix of tasty food served from stalls in the vaults!
There's handmade, vintage, and refurbished everything. Take your time and don't be afraid to barter. And before you leave, stop by the soda stand for the most delicious apple-ginger pop.
Great variety, high quality vendors; vintage clothing, exciting food, furniture +++ and a nice neighbourhood feel compared to the hectic Williamsburg flea
Go early. The line grows quickly. Usually they are really quick, but the pickin' gets slim on sunny days. Convenient when you don't want to go to Red Hook & only need a lobster roll fix on Sat.
Food is always great, the other shopping stands can be a collection of random things. But there are gems to be found. Take your time on a nice day to check it out.
Watch out for your bike. Mine was stolen today chained right next to the entrance and the "security". It was a northrock white bike with a brown seat and white and pink helmet.
Food, clothes, furniture, bikes, tons of stuff. Little expensive, but awesome. Make sure to check out the surrounding streets for more impromptu stoop sales.
Food's straight back, eat lots of small things. Highly recommend the Red Hook Lobster Rolls, and the grilled cheese with spicy pickles. Eat on the steps and enjoy the people and dog watching
Lots of cool vendors, home made gourmet foods and artwork and great deals on tons of one of a kind trinkets, you can also get some unique photos of people and items here http://www.brooklynflea.com/
Held Saturdays, April through October, in an outdoor lot in Fort Greene, and on Sundays in Williamsburg, the Flea has launched many brick-and-mortar businesses throughout New York City. Read more
Great stall with vinyl records and original etchings by Jacques Simon. Etchings are $10 each. Just bought a few. Good buy on vinyl. Just head for stall on right of entrance along gate for Ronnie Seein
The best year-round market brings together 150 local vendors carrying all manner of vintage, handmade and antique wares. The Flea will move to its winter location on November 26.
bring tons of cash if you expect to buy anything, as most vendors take cash only - there is an ATM provided on spot but there's always a huge line & a fee!
Great antique furniture, crafts and vintage knick-knacks. Even if you don't find a flea treasure today, there's still the amazing food vendors that will make a visit a very satisfying experience.
From soap, earrings and watches to oysters, ice cream and bicycles, the Flea is an ode to the city’s dedicated craftsmen. In a word: it makes you happy.
The best place to get vintage jewlery and vinyl records in brooklyn!! there's a bit too many "new" vintage vendors but the REAL vintage vintage vendors ROCK!
Don't arrive right when it opens - the vendors won't be completely set up. Don't arrive too late - the mass of people are hard to negotiate. It's a delicate balance.
most food here is tasty. I'm always torn between anything Mexican or the (portable!) brick oven pizzas. there's also a stand towards entrance that sells prosciutto bruschetta--yum!
If you weren't hungry when you arrive, you will be when you start smelling the food. For the value conscious, the $5 papusa platter rules with two cheese & jalapeno papusas.
