- Get the fried green plantains (tostones) w/cheese and any of the arepas.The special house sauce is good on everything!
- Must have tequeños and the La Mulata Arepa! You can never go wrong with their Dark N Stormy! And if it's nice out try to hit up the back patio! Oh, and my favorite brunch special is the Amazónico.

- Back patio is very nice. Don't be scared to sit out there while it is raining, they have a canopy.

- Love this place for lunch especially when hungover. Best cure is an arepa paisa with tons of sauce and a fresh passion fruit juice.

- Love Caracas, great food and drinks, but beware of the angry hostess that won't talk loud enough for you to hear her, and will get pissed if you ask to sit in the empty patio and not at the tent.

- De pabellon arepa. Shredded beef, black beans, cheese, sweet plantains. It's a religious experience in your mouth. Less crowded than east village location.
- This neighborhood staple has amazing cocktails, friendly service and I've never had an arepa I didn't like.
